Deep Clean Without the Drama - My New Go-To
Guys, if you're like me and your hair sees its fair share of product, sweat, and whatever else life throws at it, this shampoo is a game-changer. The MITCH Heavy Hitter gets down to business, stripping away all that gunk without leaving your hair feeling like straw. I was pleasantly surprised by how soft and manageable my hair was after using it. The scent is fresh and masculine without being overpowering. It's a bit pricier than your average drugstore shampoo, but a little goes a long way, so it's worth the investment. If you want a deep clean that doesn't leave your hair feeling stripped, give this one a try. You won't regret it.

Matches salon bought item
The media could not be loaded. This is the correct shampoo. I've seen many reviews that have stated it is not like the "salon" bought one, it's the same one as the one you can purchase in the salons.I like using this shampoo as it gets rid of daily build up from hair sprays or other finishing products. I only shampoo once a week (normally just rinse the rest of the week) so my hair doesn't thin over the years from over washing (as can happen with any shampoo). I love the way this product cleans and it smells masculine enough for me. My review is for this item: MITCH Heavy Hitter Deep Cleansing Shampoo 8.5 fl oz.

Good, but new "recycled" bottle is terrible
I've used Mitch Heavy Hitter for years. It's not an everyday shampoo because of how deep cleaning it is. Definitely suggest using this only 2-3 times per week at the absolute max. Scent is reminiscent of Calvin Klein Eternity for Men which is one of my all-time favorite fragrances.I'm giving this 4 stars for one reason and one reason only. The new "recycled" bottle is terrible. Heavy Hitter is a thicker shampoo, so it takes a bit of force to squeeze it out of the tube. In doing so, my most recent bottle tore along one of the top seams. So now I have to squeeze out shampoo through the torn part of the bottle. It's definitely not as robust of material as the older white-black-yellow tube was.

Was leery at first. They make a great product for men!
Review is for Paul Mitchell Heavy Hitter Deep Cleansing Shampoo/Conditioner.I have purchased 3 of these bottles now. To begin, I set out to find a high quality shampoo/conditioner combo that would counter the hard water in our area (Tennessee, heavy limestone) and also improve the look and health of my hair. I naturally have very thick hair that starts to lion's mane after about a month without a haircut. With the wifey's assistance, I found this and tried the bottle. Couldn't be happier. The lack of sulfur in the product has left my hair feeling thinner. It behaved better in styling. An additional benefit is that with a higher quality of product, I have to use less than the cheaper products. Having converted from Suave Professional, I was using a 24 oz bottle in about two months, using the prescribed amount. With the Paul Mitchell, a lot less was going a lot farther. An 8 oz bottle lasts about the same amount of time. This is a great purchase. Paul Mitchell has won my loyalty for a very long time.

Pretty good all-around shampoo
I like the scent of Heavy Hitter, that's the big draw for me anyway. You don't have to use a great deal to get your hair satisfyingly clean. As far as shampoos go, it's fairly aggressive in that it does more cleaning than actually making your hair soft/manageable. You'll definitely want to follow up with a separate conditioner. Double Hitter is likely the better choice for a daily shampoo. But this stuff will definitely get your hair squeaky clean.

Great
My husband loves this. Gets his hair super clean after a long day of working in a shop. Makes him feel super clean.
