Deuter Fox 30 Kid's Hiking Backpack (Fire/Cranberry)

I bought this pack for my six year old daughter for her birthday. We tried it out on an overnight fall trip and she did exceptionally well carrying it. The internal space was plenty sufficient for clothes, food and what little gear she had. The quality of the pack is great and perfectly fit her body for a comfortable carry. I have no doubt this pack will serve her well in the several years to come.

Bought two of these. One for my 8 year old and one for my 10 year old. Fit great after adjusting the straps. This is a shrunk down version of an adult pack. Overall a fantastic pack. Only two sort of complaints with it. Both kids had trouble getting their water bottles back in and the sleeping bag space is a little small. Both kids have small mummy bags which fit, but I don't think an adult size bag would fit. Still give it 5 stars. First day we hiked 8 miles. Not a single complaint from them about discomfort with the pack loaded to 12-14 pounds.

Good kid pack for name brand sack. Has very few side pockets the hight adjective strap really only moves a few inches. There is no sleeping bag divider so that lower bag opening is point less. As soon as u pull out the sleeping bag all the other stuff in the bag is coming out too just. Actually I'm mad I got this bag at this point. Might send it back now.

This is a nice pack. There are two things missing. 1, a divider for the upper and lower section. 2, accessible snack pouches on the hip belt.

Superb product for my children....I love the fact that it's really adjustable and can grow with my kids.....and the space in them is perfect for a child's size pack load

My daughter is 7yrs and 53# (55% Height and Weight) and at the smallest size it is still just a bit too big. she did 6 miles with it loaded to 13# total. it will last and there are a few externally accessible pockets which are nice.

I've already reviewed the backpack for my first son a couple of years ago - perfect then, perfect now for second son! They are five years apart and the packs work great for both with all it's adjustability, and plenty of volume. This is all they use for both traveling and camping, sites or hike-in primitive. So incredibly well built - need to find the comparable Deuter for myself!

Great backpack for a little kid. Mine is 7. She can carry her sleeping bag and some essentials in it. She used it on her second backpacking trip. It is great that the torso length is adjustable.

Ein wirklich guter Rucksack der sich super zum Wandern eignet. Er sitzt angenehm auf dem Rücken und selbst gut gefüllt merkt man das Gewicht kaum. Er ist simpel zu reinigen und hat nach zwei Urlauben auch noch keine Beschädigungen oder sonstiges.
