recently purchased this item and am satisfied with the quality. ordered another set based on my first impressions. 1. only item that's 80cm wide - fits my doorway perfectly. 2. soft feel - not thick pile but serves the purpose. 3. doesn't skid. 4. looks good. as for durability, only time and usage will tell. hence the 4 stars (as of now) all-in-all, a good purchase.

Good absorption and antiskid. Feels luxurious under feet. But takes time to dry if quite wet.

Good matts, non slip on the floor

Dear friend, I see my self at your place. A few months back, I was also looking out there for a good quality doormat in a budget-friendly price. Until then I was using a cotton-based thick traditional doormat kept there outside my bathroom, on which one had to rub the feet at least 4-5 times to feel dry. Then I came to know about a cloth material named "microfiber". I researched more & came to know a fact that it can quickly absorb up to 8 times water than it's weight which is quite impressive. Before we proceed further, I think I should introduce you a term used in microfiber industry - "GSM" which means Grams per Square Meter. It is a measurement for the density of polyester fibres in a microfiber cloth. The more is the GSM, more will be the number of those minute fibres per square meter & more dense a microfiber material will be & hence more it can absorb water. Here's the catch: The GSM of this SARAL microfiber doormat as claimed by the seller - "Saral Home" (photo attached) = 1000 GSM. I noticed that the density of fibres in SARAL microfiber doormat nowhere stands near or closer to a normal 340 GSM microfiber towel even if the claimed GSM of SARAL doormat is much more than normal microfiber towel. Water absorbency: Saral microfiber (35*50 cm square, 1000GSM) doormat doesn't absorb much water than a normal cotton traditional doormat. It doesn't even abosrb water quickly which a microfiber material is designed for. Conclusion: I will not recommend you to buy this product. I understand that we've limited options when looking out there for a microfiber doormat at Amazon but we still have good options for a cotton-based traditional cheaper doormat.
