It works
I live in Miami so I don't need to describe the mosquitoes. This does kill them if you hit them directly with it. It is not a repellent. I spray it on them as they're flying in close trying to bite me and enjoy seeing them fall dead to the ground twitching in agony. This does mean that the spray gets on me cause it's close range work. However, because it's made with essential oils as the only active ingredient I don't mind it getting on me and in fact it does smell nice, like real cinnamon and cloves. If you're into pumpkin spice you'll love the smell of this and in fact the smell is more natural than anything that ever claimed to be "pumpkin spice"

Excellent
Bought this product to use as a deterrent for bugs around the outside of the house. Being from Southwest Florida we get lots of bugs in and around. Since using this product outdoors around windows and doors I have had excellent luck with no bugs entering the home. Easy to use solid product and I will continue to buy and use this because it works for me.

Don't be to quick to judge ...
While this product has mixed reviews, I decided to try as every summer I have a fly problem. Flys tend to congregate on my windows. First, product is a little messy and leaves a residue. Smell is a little strong but not unpleasant. First time I sprayed, I tried to spray directly on the flys. One immediately dropped. The rest just scattered. I tried again a few times and it didn't seem to bother them. At this point smell was getting pretty strong. I was disappointed and thought it wasn't going to work. HOWEVER, the next day, all the flys had completed disappeared. It's been a few days now and they haven't come back. I think this product works well, but a little more slowly. I would recommend, but just give it some time

Don't waste your money, it doesn't work at all.
I think Ortho makes a lot of great products but this unfortunately is not one of them. It smells better than most fly sprays with the essential oils added but I have diffusers for that if I want to use essential oils. I needed something to kill flies and this simply doesn't do that effectivy. My profession is working as a scientist, an Entomologist to be exact, and so I work with insects on a daily basis. I decided to put this product through the paces using the 7 steps of the scientific method. I won't bore you with all the lengthly details but here is the meat of my findings. The product failed miserably and we tested 4 different fly species in our experiment. Ortho states on their website the product can be used to kill mosquitoes, fruit flies, houseflies, and "other flying bugs", which is obviously a fairly vague statement as there are more than a million documented insect species on earth and many of those with the ability to fly. Fun fact, there are approximately 10 quintillion individual insects alive on earth at any given time. The fly species we tested were fruit fly, house fly, little house fly and blow fly. The product did have some effect on the fruit flies and after about 10 min and a few different direct applications of the spray they died. The house fly, small house fly and blow fly even after multiple direct applications in an enclosed area still remained alive. We tested 6 separate cans of spray all with the same results. We finally applied the product in an enclosed jar and then covered the jar which ultimately killed every fly species in a matter of a minute or less. However, most individuals using this product will do so in a open area and will spray the fly as it's flying or briefly landed. In this case the product is nearly completely ineffective on any species we tested other than fruit flies. I may publish a short paper on these results if I decide to run the testing a handful of more times and have it peer reviewed but for now my opinion would be don't use this product if you want to kill flies. It's basically just a can of mediocre essential oil spray with no real value for its intended purpose.

Works Best on Small Flies and Rarely on First Try
I won't buy it again. It works when you overwhelm the fly or trap it in a window sill. For all I know, it's drowning in the oil. Killing Viirginia flies is way more difficult than the product messaging says. Only one fly of mine died in seconds, and it was a youngster. The smell is cloves on steroids. It eventually clears the air, but if the fly dies out of your sight -- let alone 3-5 of them -- you must find them, because dead flies attract more flies. It's a whole lotta work as it can take 3-4 attempts to bring down Virginia flies with this product. Let me add that if flies hate cloves -- and that is the folklore -- then why do they fly right back into the room 15 minutes later.

Works Great. Goodbye bugs.
We have 2 dogs and wanted a safer solution to indoor pest control. The crawling bug killer works on ants, spiders, beetles and whatever else is crawling around our house. The smell is sweet and our dogs do not mind the smell. We do allow the spray tender before our dogs have access to the area. Recommend for a non-toxic pest spray.

My New best Friend!
Fruit flies have become my worst nightmare. They duplicate by the minute. They were all over my house, and I mean all over! Bathrooms, bedroom, living room, and of course the kitchen. I don’t know if it’s fruit fly season or what, as my Sister in law said she was going through the same. Ay how, I finished an entire bottle of hot shot, as seen on the picture and of Raid. Once I rundown of this poison, I used bleach on this suckers. I was literally intoxicating my self and my family. I thought at one point that I was going to die first, before those damn flies. 🤣🤣🤣 I laughed now, but it’s literally true. But, didn’t quit or stop fighting back This is when I decided to get this life savior product. I was so excited when it finally arrived, that I was jumping for joy. I thought, my two weeks nightmare was close to being over. I haven’t finish eliminating them all yet, so I have to order a second bottle before I runout of the first. But I can tell you, it works at contact and it smells like a Christmas tree. I actually enjoy the smell too. I highly recommend it, I also use it on moth which were also infesting my home. I enjoy killing them now, and enjoy more, knowing that I am not harming myself or my family. 🥰 P.S. Thank you to whoever invented this awesome product. A little expensive, but oh well I guess I can’t have it all.

Didn't work
I had a fruit fly infestation and wanted to use something that had essential oils instead of the poisons found in most products. The fragrance is not bad since I am a fan of cloves, the product itself is a different story. I did what the directions said and sprayed it in their flight path as well as on them. I watched them fly off and circle around land on the fruit that I had just sprayed them on. It is also very oily, so a film lands on whatever you spray it over. You have to put sheets and towels under where your going to spray and them wash them all. It didn't kill effectively and not worth the effort or the money they it takes to use it. Will buy another product.
