A PREMIUM KEYBOARD FROM A PREMIUM BRAND
The media could not be loaded. Hey everyone! I bought this gaming keyboard few days back and have been using it as my primary gaming keyboard .I also own few other gaming keyboards from Gamdias ,Redgear and Aukey. If you are into gaming then you may be already aware of cooler master. They are very popular for making PSU units and other gaming accessories. Personally I own a cooler master PSU for my computer and I am very satisfied with its performance.●●INBOX CONTENTS●●:1-Keyboard2-User manual (don't throw it away)3-Mouse●●REVIEW●●:This a mem- channel keyboard, which feels like a mechanical keyboard.Well , It's basically still membrane, but sturdier, with a bit of longer life cycle than "normal membrane".So, you can expect it to last for years to come. And yes, It comes with 2yrs of warranty ,which is just amazing. It is compatible with cherry keycaps and features stabilizers and a very tough rubber dome at the bottom that is cylinder topped with a dome instead of just a dome. Kinda neat as an idea to try and produce better cheap keyboards. And the best thing , It features cool RGB lights with many different lighting modes. You can switch through the colors using Fn+F1 and switch through different lighting modes using Fn+F5.The construction is done completely in plastic ,the quality seems very very good and sturdy. There isn't any metal frame(I am not sure) like we see in mechanical keyboards but still it offers great resistance to bends. In terms of its overall appearance, it is one of the most attractive keyboard available in this range. The keys have that clicky feedback as with mechanical keyboard and are far better than normal memchannel keyboards. The travel distance between keys are very similar to mechanical keyboards making the typing experience pleasurable. And yes,it does make clicky sound like mechanical ones. The keys are semi transparent ,so with the LEDs ON you can easily see the key letters in dark.●●MOUSE:(Only in combo purchase)The mouse is also made of plastic ,matte finish on top and sides are rubberized for better grip and comfort .The mouse is quite bigger than normal mouse so the gaming experience is much better. But isn't made for left handed mouse users. The left click and right click buttons provides good clicky feedback and you can easily adjust the sensitivity using the top DPI settings button.#All of the gaming keyboards I own have braided wires but sadly this gaming combo features a normal silicon coated cords which doesn't seem as durable as a braided cable.#things I don't like about this KB-No wrist rest ,Anyway I use my laptop sleeve as the wrist rest.●●WORTH BUYING?●●- Well ,it's a bit expensive at 5999 considering that it's still a mem channel keyboard .But on the other hand I couldn't find anything better for this price.I mean it features a durable design, RGB lights with many different modes, excellent tactile feedback and 2 yrs of warranty. This KB from cooler master proves to be a perfect alternative for a mechanical keyboard ,if you cannot afford one.. Ofcourse you can get gaming keyboards at much cheaper price but if you want something from a reputed brand ,then definitely go for this combo. Thanks for reading, I hope my review helps making a well informed purchase decision.RegardsAbraham

Nit like true mechanical keys
Truely a breeze to use this keyboard. Nit like true mechanical keys, but gives an impression of mechanical keys. Touch to type time is really quick. An initial small press like 40%, will register the key. Its that quick. Mouse is fine a moderate mouse. But mouse clicks are registered quick. Very good for online gaming, especially making shooting feel quick. The RGB is good too. COoler Master has tried to implement driverless RGB controller with the keyboard keys alone. So it cannot be controlled by software.

Poor Experience.
Very poor typing experience. Its been nearly a year since i bought this and the space key is already starting to malfunction. At this price point, this is really a very poor product.

Jack of no trades, master of one.
This review is being written after 18 months of use.Build quality: excellent. No flex, weight distribution on point, feels premium. However, a complete lack of media controls is to be noted. 4/5.Keys: poor. Multiple keys registered sporadic issues within a week of buying it, although CM were kind enough to replace the unit. Every few months, issues kept popping with different keys here and there. CM's after-sales support is excellent, but it gets bothersome quickly. 2/5.The 'clicky' switches are meant to be cherry mx blue like, but aren't anything like them. I've used dozens of membrane and mechanical switches over the years, and I'd recommend picking one side or other, not these hybrids.RGB lighting: This is where the keyboard truly shines. Hardware lighting controls only. Lots of options, and the white backplate truly makes the rgb effects shine. In terms if pure 'oomph', very few keyboards look this good. However software support would definitely help. Still, 5/5.Mouse: A decent mouse, with 4 fixed dpi options. Sticks to the basics, nothing fancy. Solid build, haven't faced any issues with it yet. A little small for my large hands, but that's the case with most mice out there. 4/5.Price: Considering I bought it for about 5k for the duo, I'd give that a 4.5/5 on day one. However, considering the amount of time and irritation the faulty keys cost me, I'm gonna scale it down to 2/5.There's better ones out there, including pure mechanical keyboards. Don't settle for less.
