When it comes to making gelatin free jellies or puddings then the first thing that comes to mind is agar agar. I have tried many brands butthd best agar agar I have tried till date are these Meron agar agar strips. It sets the pana cotta, cheesecakes and puddings like dream. I have used their wondergel and agar agar powder & must say all their products are amazing. The best part is that they don't alter the taste of any dish.

Takes too long to dissolve! Didn't expect it.

Not a good product
It's better to buy the agar powder instead of these strips. It takes way too long to dissolve properly in boiling hot water.

Best way to make Seempal
I added this to hot milk and sugar to make Seempal. We don't get Seempal like the way we used to get in 90's in the village side. This is something that I missed for so long. I am able to make Seempal using this.
