I m new to agar agar. Tried it on aloe Vera gel..will update again after few days..it has good gelling properties but my aloevera gel was grainy...i do not know much abt agar agar..

Good vegetarian alternative
It is a good vegetarian alternative , however the jelly won't be as good as Gelatin. Gelatin gives clear and smooth jelly. However this one is not as smooth as Gelatin.

I would have used several different gelatin products in the past but was never that happy as I always had a weired feeling, but here meron resolved it all. Meron is a vegetarian version , Agar Agar is made from sea weed hence no guilt of using animal fat . This is a healthier substitute and amazing if u wish to make jellies , Panna cotta or set any fusion fish. It is flavourless so it wouldn't dominate the flavour u are adding to the dish. Perfect and easy to use. I made this Strawberry Rasberry Cheesecake using Agar Agar and you can see how Perfect the result is. Absolutely happy with the product and would definitely recommend you to buy one.

It’s expired when I received item !!
This item was expired when I received it! The date on it said best if used by 2/14/2024!! So it’s expired by over 1 and 1/12 years!!! That’s absolutely terrible!!!!! Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star!!!
