Tablecraft 6 Oz Syrup Dispenser

I ordered this in spite of the negative reviews because I was just sick of my sticky plastic agave bottle (i.e. I usually just leave it in the original container). This is super high-quality, very solid and looks really nice in my kitchen. It works really well and i just don't understand the bad reviews. It almost sounds like other people received a different item. The rubber gasket fits perfectly in mine. There is a 'top side' and a 'bottom side' to the gasket, so you do need to make sure you place it correctly....but it's really obvious which way it needs to go for a snug fit and mine stays put. Absolutely no leaks when I use this for Agave. LOVE it!

Cute little pitcher. It works very well. Several people complained about it leaking, but I have a feeling they didn't use the gasket that is provided. I haven't had a problem at all with leaking with the gasket properly placed between the lid and the jar.

I really like this dispenser, It seems to be very nice quality and well made. I was surprised how small it is. Will have to be filling it often. It is adorable though and I'm looking forward to using it with syrup for my pancakes Update August 7th, 2013, After using this little dispenser for a few weeks, I decided it was just too small for syrup. It has to be filled too often. I've decided to order the 14 oz. and will add my review on that one after I receive it. I think I will try to use this smaller dispenser for sugar, If that doesn't work out I'll try chocolate syrup. I'm sure I'll find some use for it. I've decided to drop my rating to 4 stars because of the size

Gave as gift, right size for smaller space applications

I use Butter Buds in place of real butter and they come in a powder that needs to be reconstituted with water. This little 6 ounce jar is perfect for storing - and pouring - my liquid Butter Buds. The only thing I don't like is that the rubber seal that goes into the lid is very loose and falls out every time I unscrew it. Once screwed on though, it seals well and does not drip out at all. I think the cost is a little bit high for the quality.

So I bought the dispenser with the idea of using it for honey. I thought my kids were just always making a mess using it so I placed a jar lid under to see if it was that or a leak. It took some time, as honey is thick, but it wasn’t my kids. It in fact is leaking. Not quite sure how as I don’t see a crack anywhere but the lid has honey on it and I haven’t allowed use for a couple days now. Love it and love the look, as it reminds me of my favorite breakfast restaurant, but I do have to purchase another and dispose this one. Bummer.

This is just what I needed for honey. It works well with minimal drips but still needs that little bit wiped off after use to avoid stickiness. It was a good size for our storage space and is well made.

I drink chamomile and lavender tea with honey in it every night before bed to help me sleep well. I was so tired of drippy honey containers and went in search of a better dispenser. This fit the bill, works like a charm. I may upgrade to a larger one someday, but this works well when only using 1 teaspoon a day tea and occasionally for hot cereal or recipes calling for honey. My husband said his mom used to keep sugar in one like this when he was a boy. I imagine that would work too. What really surprised me was that this was delivered in a paper mailing envelop, no box, no bubble wrap, no styrofoam, no 'fragile' sticker, and yet it was in perfect condition. This one hardy little dispenser. P.S. I got the tea on Amazon too. If you have trouble going to sleep try the Biglow brand, or if you just need to calm down from a hectic day. It works for me, maybe it will for you too.
