I'll test it when I get home, but off the top of my head, you can't clip the supports AND the rails at the same time, they both attach to the edge of the track, BUT if you use a box or something, (never thought to do that), I do believe the rails should keep the track rigid.

Are all 10 rails the same? The picture looks like for rights 4 straights and 2 lefts.

Combination of Rails - 4 Strait, 4 Outside Curve, 2 Inside Curve - If you have the base starter set, I'd recommend you order 2 of the rail sets. I ordered in 1 and immediately ordered another. 1 Set was not enough.

How much track does one kit over?

If you use it to cover every piece, it covers ONE straight piece and 2 curved pieces. If you get tired of XYZ is off the track, just cover everything. It helps and to me makes it more fun.If you have the Aki Overdrive stater kit, I would get 4 rails kits. I did and I needed all the straight pieces and had rails for 2 curved left over. If you have more pieces, just get more. It's worth it.

I started by putting rails on the jump and landing since the cars kept flying off the track. Then after using anki for a few weeks it seemed more and more of the tracks needed rails since the cars would not stay on the tracks. Very glitchy system.
