The amount of attention to detail in this elegant design is astonishing. For example. It is constructed completely of stainless steel except for the wooden crank handle, the on/off selector knob which is some kind of molded hard polymer, and the four sticky silicone feet. It feels sturdy. It's thin guage material, but it's formed very thoughtfully and does not feel the least bit flimsy. It works great. The blades seem very sharp and the plate that grabs the vegetable or fruit is very effective at engaging and turning it. It is easy to clean when you are not working with syrupy foods. 1.) Turn it off, pull the twisty shaft/drive plate back. 2.) Verify the spiral cut blade is the one you want to use or change to a new one. (It's almost impossible to change the blade when the drive plate is near the blade.) 3.) Insert fruit or vegetable to be spiralized. 4).) Push the shaft tightly to engage with the vegetable/fruit. 5.) Turn the switch to On or Process. This engages the shaft so that turning the crank pushes the object through the cutting blade. 6.) Crank until most of the vegetable/fruit is spiralized. You will need to cut the ends of the vegetable/fruit off so that both ends are roughly parallel. The core comes out in a straight cylinder about 5 mm or 1/4 inch in diameter. For cucumbers or other vegetables whose seeds you don't want to eat anyway, this is a convenience. This thing is so much fun to work with you may invent new recipes or occasions to eat spiral cut things just to use it. I know I have.

I’m only leaving a review because some of the negative reviews on this product made me hesitate to buy it, and I only ended up buying it because I wanted to avoid a plastic spiralizer. I search high and low and decided to take a chance. Man!!! This spiralizer surpassed my expectations. First of all it’s is easy to set up, just add the handle and you’re in business. Small and not bulky, easy to store and keep nearby for regular use. Easy to clean, not too many pieces. Sturdy, the suction holds well. Works well and saves time - onions done, cabbage done, next up : sweet potatoes. My only wish is for the different blades to be labeled or have their foot color coded or something. Not a big deal but would be a sweet addition. I also love it if we could purchase additional blades (slicing 🙏) and replacement blades for when the originals get dull. It’s only been a week, but I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Love how it shreds pretty much any thing I've tried, carrots, cabbage, potatoes, onions.. But it lost its suction after first use, I just put back suction or legs under my glass cutting board. Holds n place. An if I had a say in size, id wanted a couple inches cutting blade bigger. Head of cabbage or sometimes large potatoes don't get the whole circle . All in all I like alot , does pretty good. Rinse well and ready to use for next day..

So far so good. Glad to have one that’s not plastic! Do need to use more than I have though.

Great sturdy product. It's very addictive and it's going to save me lots of dollars over time. I will be eating a lot more healthily. Easy to clean too!

I had a plastic spiralizer years ago and hated it. This excellent quality machine is much better designed and does a better job. I say that based on the one time my husband has let me use it! He is my sous chef and chief bottle washer and is very pleased with blade sharpness, ease of cranking, good counter suction and ease of cleaning. WellToBe listen up! The only con I have is the plastic blade storage protector. It's fine for shipping but not for home storage safety. It is only a shelf peg type blister pack plastic so you'll need to invent a better option for your safety. I'm still looking for something.

This machine is solid, quality, and exceeded expectations. One minor problem that isn't a problem unless you are in a hurry - the little plastic knob that you screw the handle onto the machine arrives crumbling. However, upon purchase confirmation, the seller sends a second email explaining this is a known issue and that they are sending a replacement metal one in approx 7 days (and if arrives sooner). This did not matter to me as this was bought to be used at a fundraiser concession stand for sporting events. I used the metal coupling portion of the broken plastic screw and easily fashioned a permanent screw end for a drill. First week of use it spun over 60 pounds of potatoes (actually did 40 pounds first night after delivery & 20 more pounds the next). Still works smooth as silk and looks brand new. Great quality all around as stainless steel makes up every part of this except a couple tiny plastic parts. Blade changing is simple, just slide in & out. We also do NOT use the skewer sticks and I see no use for them except for a specific application requiring skewers. Finally, cleanup is done in mere seconds. FAR exceeded my expectations and we just bought another one of these exact items. It's not often I'm impressed with an item, but for the price, this tool truly can't be beat. A truly commercial-level quality item at household use prices that withstands volume and maintains itself easily - i think the best compliment I can give is that we are buying another one less than a week later and a friend took a pic of the box because they want one for their home! Plus as a bonus - the "leftover pieces" are just fun & funny - we cooked them too!!!

I bought this to spiralize rutabaga (swedes). Unfortunately, the spiralizer is made up of weak, flexible materials in two key places: in the blade panel and in the spiked vegetable holder -- the stainless steel bends easily; you can literally watch the metal flex as you turn the vegetable. As a result, when cutting a hard vegetable like rutabaga, all the flexing means that eventually, the rutabaga ends up _misaligned_ with the blade, so that turning the spiralizer no longer puts the vegetable in contact with the blade -- it just misses entirely. Something that should take ten minutes now takes way longer, as you struggle to get the rutabaga re-aligned -- which is a lot harder than it sounds. I should also note that the screw that holds the flimsy vegetable holder is also prone to slip, which makes it behave even more flexibly, so the vegetable stops aligning with the blade even faster. For that reason, I can't recommend this spiralizer.

I had a plastic spiralizer but it didn’t see the light of day very often because it was fiddly, cumbersome and difficult to clean. I found out about this one from the ’Greedy Gourmet’ blog. It is pared down to basics - quality stainless steel no extraneous ’bits’ or casing. There is an on/off lever which engages the forward spiralizing function and when off allows forward and back adjustment to the length of the veg/fruit. Finally, it is very easy to clean the gripping disc in situ, but it can be removed. I use a brush for the disc and blades. My first tryout was for onion bhajis which turned out brilliantly. Now I am on the lookout for as many spiralizing recipes as I can find.

Es un producto precioso, super fácil de usar y limpiar. Realmente vale mucho la pena, permite rallar con una enorme facilidad, no ocupa mucho espacio y hasta una verdura dura es sencilla de rebanar. Aparte se ve heemosa la verdura y más antojable. Amo este producto!!!
