Very Attractive and Steady. Quality floors
This is a review for the item 65050 3.8m Sunsaille which is what I ordered from Amazon and not from the market sellers. I think there is a issue with the item on this page and market sellers item description as from what i can understand some buyers receive wrong boat (2.8 caspian pro model) if it was ordered from them...Delivery company sent a text saying they will deliver 2.8 caspian which panicked me but in the end I received the correct boat which I ordered and paid for 3.8 m Sunsaille model. Also it is worth mentioning when the item is sold by Amazon it is actually cheaper..Boat comes with 2 seats.Aluminium floorsThick transomTransom plates are plastic and not metal.Built quality is %85 there but for the money it is actually very good.Unless you need a small tender for to get to your big boat or yacht in my opinion 3.8m is the smallest you ll need to take the kids out for small fishing trips or for fun. When you have your rig and bits and bobs you ll soon run out space.3.8 is a decent size and feels very sturdy and safe.It looks very attractive in flesh and putting it together was pretty easy. For a rib/sib it is not that heavy but bulky and not easy to fold and put it away.I decided to get a 6hp 4 stroke mercury outboard for it as in France(where we ll be using this)it is the biggest hp outboard you can have without licence and permit and vignette. It wont break speed limits but will be sufficient enough. In my opinion 15 hp or 20hp at max.If you know how big 30hp outboards is you'ed know that you wouldnt want to put it on this boat. Plus you l be mad to put an engine worth 3k on to a dinghy costs sub £400.Subway produces (well rather distributes) pretty decent inflatables. We have the toy explorer 300 boat and 8 foot pool by bestway and all seems to stay together and only time will tell with this Sunsaille.UPDATE:Few days ago had the opportunity to use the boat in the harbour and open seas, Tide was strong and waves were unpredictable. Due to the harbour traffic there were a lot of bigger Yachts and waves were pretty big, I also recently purchased a 4Stroke 20HP Tohatsu.Boat handles most waves ok between 1 to 1.5 metres However don't think any second that you ll be on plane carrying your speed as you greet bigger waves as that is the same with all these boats as you really need to slow down to absorb the waves.20HP Tohatsu gets the boat on a plane within 5 seconds and boat was doing about 23 knots with less than full throttle applied. This is absolutely fine on calm waters but when the waves hit the boat there are stretching and flexing, just makes sure your keel is inflated to the right pressure. For the money it is a fantastic boat and a lot of fun
