Keeps the shoe dirt contained. Is durable. Looks and feels like it is designed to last. Easy to use. Please consider in your decision making that I am a woman’s size 7 (U.S.) and managed to pack a pair of trail runners and Chacos into it, but definitely would not be able to fit, e.g., two pairs of trail runners.
