Good for one-time use when sanding wood dowels, wood trim, etc. Handy to have on hand. Small nitpicking -- I ordered a pack of 80 grit sponges, but the box shows an assortment, I'll take a big black marker to re-label the box before putting it on my garage shelf.

These sanding sponges are a handy addition to my toolbox. I got the 80-grit (coarse) version and they are able to conform to surfaces such as railings. They seem to be working well so far, although I’ve not used them extensively enough yet to say anything about their durability. But I did try rinsing one off, as these are supposed to be wet/dry and washable. It cleaned up nicely. The sandpaper is bonded to the sponge pretty well and I like that the grit size is clearly marked on the edge of the sponge. So far, so good. Time will tell how they last with heavy usage.
