The Andersons Professional PGF Complete 16-4-8 Fertilizer with Humic (40lb)

I read the reviews on this fertilizer and decided to give it a try myself and the results are outstanding. The phosphorus-free formula is ideal for my area, and the fine particle size ensures even, consistent coverage. The particles disperse quickly when watered, delivering nutrients directly into the soil without relying on fragile coatings that can break under mower blades. It combines all the essential nutrients in the ideal ratio that most experts recommend for regular lawn maintenance. It’s also high in iron and micronutrients, which gave my lawn a noticeable green-up in just over a week with regular watering. The slow-release nitrogen provides steady feeding for up to 8 weeks, so I’m not constantly reapplying. Plus, the inclusion of Humic DG—a carbon-based compound—helps enrich the soil and improves nutrient uptake. If you're looking for a professional-grade, easy-to-apply fertilizer that promotes healthy, lush turf with minimal effort, this is it. My lawn has never looked better! I've used a number of recommended products before (Milorganite, Yard Mastery, Ringer and other store bought ones) but nothing gave me the growth and healthy grass (Bermuda & St. Aug) like Andersons. I used one app of the fert, one of the humic, and then later the green iron fert, and I have one of the lushest and greenest lawns in my HOA. Not the best - still some patches to fill in and leveling needed, but people stop and look regularly. No brown or burning patches like other lawns. The Bermuda grows very fast and goes to seed so I have to stay on top of the mowing more, but the fertilizer has really helped fill in several dead spots and brown patches that have stuck around for a few years now. Weeds are fighting to get in, but the grass is thick and lush, crowding out almost all weeds and other growth. I love this product and the others from Anderson. Great stuff

This is the second time I've purchased The Andersons PGF Complete 16-4-8 for my Zoysia lawn, and there's a reason I came back to it. After seeing the results from the first application, I knew I wanted to use it again. The granules spread evenly, and the fertilizer is easy to apply with a broadcast spreader. Within a few weeks, my lawn looked greener, thicker, and healthier. The added humic component seems to help improve overall lawn performance, especially during the hot summer months. I appreciate that it provides balanced nutrients without causing excessive growth that leads to constant mowing. My Zoysia responds really well to it, maintaining a rich color and filling in nicely. While it's not the cheapest fertilizer available, the results have been worth the cost for me. When I find a lawn product that works, I stick with it, and this is now my go to fertilizer for keeping my Zoysia looking its best. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve the health and appearance of their lawn.
