Question 1

is this the same as red palm fruit oil?

Accepted Answer

Yes, same thing. If it's red palm oil, it's produced from palm fruit. There are other oils produced from palms (palm kernel oil, coconut oil) but those lack the red color and the healthy carotenoids contained in the red palm oil.

Question 2

Does this have the trademark RSPO

Accepted Answer

Hello There! Someone gave me a big gallon of OMNI RED PALM OIL and as you, I was curious about your question. So I looked it up online and found OMNI's web site and found this:"Consumers need to be sure that their food is ethically sourced and produced using sustainable methods that do not impact climate change or contribute to the destruction of large areas of forest with high conservation value. SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION - RSPODOS Palm Oil Production is based in Ghana in West Africa where forest conversion to oil palm is not common practice and production takes place without the destruction of vital vegetation and ecosystems. We are 100% committed to sustainable agriculture and our goal is to achieve RSPO certification within the next 3-5 years. Omni Palm Products are made exclusively from our own oil so that we can guarantee their ethical origins. Our fruit is sourced from local farms or from our own plantations, which have been developed on sites traditionally used for agricultural purposes. "Hope it helps you as well as others....Thank you!
