I returned this product (still awaiting refund ) as what arrived was not the branded TED Stockings.. This was another brand, goes against all sorts of trading standards laws

These are the BEST! Fit well and very durable. Better than the ones you leave the hospital with, only started to loose a bit of elasticity after 4 washes. They stayed on the thighs well!!

They work well and are relatively easy to put on. Pulling them up to mid thigh they tended to slip down a little bit. I didn’t like the hole in the toe of the stocking. I would’ve preferred it to be a closed toe stocking.

I needed compression stockings after a total knee surgery. Ok. So. Compression socks are awful. Straight up. But these were a hundred times better than the one the surgery center sent home with me. They covered my toes and did not strangle them. The elastic grip around my thigh was so tight I had to cut it. It stayed on pretty well. It went on and off as well as can be expected. If I had to do it again, I would by the same brand.

I purchased these compression stockings for my mother (85 years old) as replacement for hospital issued stockings post-knee replacement. The stockings she was issued from hospital were so tight, we could barely get them off and then back on & she felt like they were completely cutting off her circulation. These compression stockings worked a lot better. They did the job compression-wise - she was even able to get them off and on by herself, and was much happier/in a lot less discomfort. One negative: One of the stockings lost its elasticity around her thigh about a week and a half in and it didn't stay in place so well after that point. So I took off one star because they didn't hold up well. If you're looking for a short-term post-op compression stocking replacement, I would recommend these stockings. If you're looking for something that needs to hold up for weeks/months, I would recommend you check out other products.
