Sounds crazy but it works
We live in a suburban area where coyotes are VERY common, and completely unafraid of humans. They can jump fences more than 6 feet tall, which is what we naively installed when we bought our house. Our first Chihuahua was caught up by coyotes in our fenced back yard not once but twice -- he survived both attacks (very $$$), one of which was in the middle of the day, so we were trying to be really vigilant. Then a female coyote made a den in the shrubs just outside our fence, and that was the "last straw". I hung these dispensers from the inside of our fence, about 10 feet apart, and darned if the coyotes didn't stay away although the dogs are completely disinterested. I can always tell when they need refilling because one of our dogs goes crazy at the spot by the fence where the female coyote likes to hang out. So I refill the dispensers and give a spray through the fence to her den, and she/they go away again. Be aware that in high temperatures the urine evaporates in much less than 33 days -- I start checking at two weeks. I've told all my neighbors about this product. Much cheaper than vet bills, and a lot less traumatic to us and the dogs than another attack.

Waste of money
Useless product, 2 days after setting it up I had a duck taken from the yard by coyotes. They don't care, it didn't even slow them down

Exactly as described
Really easy to use. Used an adjustable plier wrench to open the bottle top because it was cranked on.. which i appreciate. Dont want it to spill in transport. It does stink but its pee come on People hold your breath if you really cant handle it.. lol i just filled the containers on a windy day and i stood up wind. Put in plant boxes because deer ate 8 of 14 of my tomato plant down to nubs and pulled out1 out of ground, soo had to try something. We will cross fingers that this works. If it doesnt i just wont order it next year. I live in MN so its a short season for us. I plan to refill containers 2 - 3 times this season and there should be enough i filled each about 1".

Holds up in the rain
So I have been dealing with coyotes in our house in the hills, and one in particular decided to camp out in our neighbors backyard and go between our houses and go after our cats we looked into predator urines, and this seemed like the best solution as it comes with little rainproof cups and we’ve had pretty bad torrential rain Here in California and so far they have been holding up great and no more coyotes. So far so good I will update if anything changes right now I highly recommend them.

Didn’t repel a So. Cal. Bobcat
Unfortunately this Product did not work for me. I live in So. California. My house backs up to foothills. I don’t think Wolfs naturally occur in the Santa Monica foothills/mountains, so it’s confusing how a Bobcat would know to avoid an area where I placed this product without knowing what Wolf pee is when they’ve never encountered a Wolf or Wolf pee. Anyways, it didn’t work for me, as the Bobcat keeps returning, but that’s not to say this product won’t work for you. Scent is very strong and long lasting.

No more coyotes
I have ducks and saw a coyote trotting right along the fence line. I was hearing them close at night also. I used this product - put some in the little plastic containers and hooked them all along the fence where the ducks were and where I had seen the coyote. Since then, I have heard them from a distance, but haven’t seen any and still have all my ducks! The smell is VERY strong. I used good gloves to pour it into the little containers as I did not want the smell on my skin. My dogs also tried very hard to roll or rub in it. (Rubbing along the fence where the container were hung - on the outside and tops on.).

Please Don’t Waste Your Money
Bought the wolf urine combo in an attempt to protect the 4 outdoor cats I take care of from a coyote that suddenly appeared in my yard twice within a couple of days. Haven’t seen a coyote before this in 20+ years. You get 10 ten-inch “poles” with a crook at the end for hanging, 10 bottles the size of a prescription bottle with two holes on the sides to both let the “aroma” drift out (I guess) and to thread the long twist ties (included) through that you’ll hang from the little poles. I can’t tell you how incredibly small I thought the whole kit was for the money. I used about 5 ounces of the 16 oz bottle to fill the 10 bottles. That will tell you something right there. I couldn’t detect any real scent to the urine as I filled the bottles, but animals have a much keener sense of smell, so didn’t worry. There were no instructions of any type, so I set them up along my back woods about every 10 feet for 100 feet. The very next day, I watched as a fox walked past the row of urine bottles and decided to relax for a while in between two of them. The scent didn’t deter him a bit. Didn’t deter any of my cats as they walked past one of the bottles on their way into the woods. Within 3 days, 8 of the bottles were knocked off their rods and most had their caps ripped off, most likely from the raccoons that wander into my yard most nights. They probably loved the tasty nightcap! So the urine didn’t deter the cats, a fox, or raccoons, but I haven’t seen that coyote again. Replaced the urine set-up with 4 solar-powered spotlights shining into the woods. Those might be scarier to the coyote than unscented wolf pee.
