This is an adequate fluval filter replacement and great priced compared to name brand. I don't know why easy to clean is a category here...THESE ARE DISPOSABLE...through them out when they need changed!

It is what it is!
Really love my Fluval C3...worst part is that the filters pads and the bio-screen get clogged up really easily! Also finding media replacement locally has been an issue!The trick (for me) to these things is to use the water you take out from your water change, and lightly scrub/rinse them in the dirty water. That is the only way to keep water flowing through well. If I didn't do that I would be using a bio-screen every time I do a water change. And at $8 or so for 3 of them, I'll do my best to make them last for a while!! Am currently exploring the best materials for making my own "bio-screen".

Good Price and Easy to install
It's amazing how much this little filter works. The installation takes about 2 seconds (literally) and the price is great. I have my set for a subscription so I get the discounted price and they arrive at my doorstep without me having to worry about ordering more. Can't go wrong!
