Do not use the POS fitting with the aeration port that connects the outlet hose to your pool. I set my pool up 2 weeks ago and have been working to get my pool chemistry dialed in, only to come home to find my pool nearly empty. Luckily there is plenty of yard to absorb 3000 gallons of water or this could have been a disaster. The problem fitting does not fasten to the pool nozzle but relies on friction to keep it in place. I questioned this during install but figure worst case it would drain to the inlet port. I did not consider that the pump outlet hose would be laying on the ground emptying the contents of the pool. It definitely drains faster than it fills up…FML. I’m trashing this fitting and using a clamp to secure the pump hose to the sleeve fitting on the pool and tugging that hose like…well you get the idea. Review: Easy and durable pool - Good durability! Fits very well in backyard! Stands about 3ft-4ft tall! Very easy set up and my kids absolutely love it ! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B073FQN4QD | | Brand | Intex | | Brand Name | Intex | | Capacity | 3284 gallons | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 897 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00078257261659 | | Is Assembly Required? | Yes | | Item Shape | Round | | Item Weight | 40.03 kg | | Item weight | 40.03 kg | | Manufacturer | Intex | | Manufacturer Part Number | 26165EH | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 26165EH | | Shape | Round | | UPC | 078257261659 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Intex - **Shape:** Round - **Material:** Plastic - **Capacity:** 3284 gallons - **Frame material:** Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) - **Assembly time:** 20 Minutes - **Item weight:** 40.03 kg - **Assembly required:** Yes - **UPC:** 078257261659 - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00078257261659 ## Images ![Intex 26165EH Swimming Pool with Inflatable Ring, Circle, 12430 L, Blue, 3785 l/h, 220-240 V - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61j3VxmwkNL.jpg) ![Intex 26165EH Swimming Pool with Inflatable Ring, Circle, 12430 L, Blue, 3785 l/h, 220-240 V - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ldGD-zmAL.jpg) ![Intex 26165EH Swimming Pool with Inflatable Ring, Circle, 12430 L, Blue, 3785 l/h, 220-240 V - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91vxFO4ZRwL.jpg) ![Intex 26165EH Swimming Pool with Inflatable Ring, Circle, 12430 L, Blue, 3785 l/h, 220-240 V - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81-b+RpRrVL.jpg) ![Intex 26165EH Swimming Pool with Inflatable Ring, Circle, 12430 L, Blue, 3785 l/h, 220-240 V - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81+wd-0LjNL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Why were these pools under 400 in 2019?** A: I laid under 300 for mine in 2019. Shame on you Amazon **Q: does this pool last more then one summer?** A: I've had my 18'x48' intex pool for 5 years. This year the ring wouldn't stay inflated, but it still remained full of water. I bought 13 pool noodles. Zip tied them together and placed under the ring. I then punched holes in the ring, and rolled the ring over the noodles and tied them together! Works perfectly! **Q: Can i switch the pool to a sand filter? If so what does everyone recommend?** A: As a 15 year pool man, certified CPO by the National pool and spa foundation… sand is the least effective filter. It allows the largest sized microns through. Cartridge filter is the second best, and Diatomaceous earth is the best filtering the smallest microns of all three filter types. **Q: So all the pools are the same depth** A: The pool is 30 inches deep and 12 feet across thank you ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Faulty Inlet Piece *by G***. on 13 July 2026* This is a pretty decent pool with one major flaw.
