It was pretty much SHOT I thought and I paid plenty for it, so I tried this and since the seems had come aprt on the inside the fix can't be seen. It worked like a charm and holds great, washes a ok, and is tough as nails! Now, my jacket is synthetic so I cannot vouch for how it works on cotton or linen but I can't imagine it not working either. It dries almost clear but I wouldn't expect it to be used showing on the outside of something I wanted to wear to a formal! Review: Liquid Stitch - Great stuff. Been using liquid stitch for years. It is washable. I used it to shorten/hem 2 pair of pajama pants instead of sewing them. The glue itself was on the thick side. At first it was difficult to get the glue to come out. I feel I might have been sent an older product. **Q: when it dries it it more like rubber, leather or canvas?** A: It is ever so slighty stiff, but worth it.
