Brass drain plastic body with runbber washers.
Easy install, I still used plumbers putty underneath. Great quailty. quality. Liked it!

Heavy duty unit
Had to match the rest of the bathroom hardware color on a remodel, could not find one locally this unit was a perfect match.

Works somewhat, but don't think it gets all the hair
Looks good. I have very thick curly, prone to frizzy hair. Whenever I shower and wash and condition my hair, I get handfuls of hair. Never bothered me because it's so thick. What I see on this drain, I believe is maybe 1/2+a bit of the hair that falls out. The holes are large. I will say it fit PERFECTLY over my drain but I may dry an easy plastic thing over it to see if I capture more hair.

Durable and rust free for snake free homes
While competitors may highlight a durable, semi-gloss finish in elegant black that withstands (thankfully) the many showers the household takes…this drain is snake proof. We have not had a single snake wrestle its way up popping the integrated clips holding it in place. Nor have the ferrets pulled it free and snuck off in the middle of the night. I 100% recommend this drain cover for anyone wishing to have a snake free and ferret infested home:)

These type drains take a lot of guess work out of installation. No glue needed, just a screw driver to tighten. Alignment is a little challenge but no big deal. The only problem I had was my drain is 1-1/2"and I had to buy an adapter which was a extra expense.

Worth the $
Cheaped out with a white cover in our new shower, decided to spend the extra $ for this black one and it made all the difference! Looks awesome

Good drain, white pipe visible once installed
This met my needs but the face the the fitting under the plate is white means that in my all black shower, I see quite plastic every time I step in. A minor complaint, but one that doesn't need to exist if the company would produce a full black option.
