Very happy with this hard drive! It was easy to install, works perfectly, and offers fast read/write speeds. Great for backups and everyday use. Solid build quality and arrived well-packaged. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for dependable storage!

I bought two inexpensive used drives from the Amazon "Used" option. My drives arrived well-packed in several layers of bubble-wrap and a heavy shipping envelope. Not ideal, but good enough for the purpose. I have since reformatted them and am using one right now as my interim main drive on a Linux box. The other drive has been formatted with NTFS (Windows 10) for use as an offline backup drive. Both drives are working well in their new functions. As these are ex-7200 RPM Apple-branded drives, I had to use a partition editor to thoroughly wipe the previous partitions to allow the one to be readable by Windows and prevent the second drive from interfering with my Linux installation process. As-shipped, they are not readable by Windows. This may be the source of complaints by some of the other reviewers. YMMV, but my drives are both working well and you can’t touch the price. I have since bought two more.

Great item, exactly what I needed to replace drives in my RAID array.

When my hard drive crashed, this vendor had the exact same hard drive even though the technology was older but Seagate is still producing (It was dated as May 2021 manufactured) Using my recent Windows-System Image backup I was back up and running after restored. Computer runs like new. It was the failing hard drive with bad sectors that was making it sluggish before the ultimate crash. I ordered from this vendor after originally ordering from another vendor that had lack of communication, cancelled order. I chose this vendor. Item was packed in a box with padding...packaged superbly and fast. This vendor is excellent The other vendors hard drive came later...no box in a thin amazon bag..not even padded, I can only imagine how bad that was banged around..sent it back

It's an HDD. It reads and writes. It is good value for the storage. If you're looking for faster speeds, look into SSD, but this does the trick.

The drive I received is clearly a reclaim drive. It was very dusty and had a piece of paint masking tape on the back with the letter "P" on it. But it ran nice and quite and good price. So I will keep it. I repurpose drives all the time but the description should state this is a surplus drive.

Acquistato per sostituire un vecchio hardisk, é stato semplice installarlo in quanto va attaccata l alimentazione tramite lo spinotto in dotazione. Un po' lento e datato ma era il modello che cercavo, avrei dovuto prendere un ssd soprattutto visto il prezzo

Nutze die Festplatte für meine PS2 und bin sehr zufrieden.

Disco duro no sirvió, llevado con especialistas y se nos dijo que el disco duro fue vendido en ese estado.
