TITUS Lightweight Safety Bump Cap - Baseball Style Protective Hat

I work at Amazon on the Mezzanine level as Amnesty and needed a different bump cap than the one I was given (super goofy looking 🫣) so I bought this one, removed the insert and replaced it with an "Ergodyne Skullerz Universal Bump cap insert" I got the $5 one that is trimmable, so it made this hat fit better than the original insert that comes with it. I know it sounds stupid to want something less goofy when its really just about safety, but the original insert makes this hat stick up soooo high, it's dumb. It definitely works for what I need it for as there are low hanging beams on the floor I'm on. It protects my head, and keeps me safe! And still looks like a regular hat, and less goofy! 🤭 ✅

Saved my noggin more than once, looks good, BUT the only drawback is there's basically NO ventilation and in no time sweat rolling down from under cap and hair soaking wet, and this is in an automotive repair facility IN THE WINTER, given it wasn't nearly as cold as usual Indiana winter, still cold and shop is not over 60°F. Probably will be terrible in the summer. Going to try to drill some holes for more ventilation. Other than that, good protective cap.

My dad’s been bald for maybe half a decade now but still doesn’t seem to have adjusted in spacial awareness. He’s constantly bonking his poor head. He’s doing some remodeling on our house for us and after nearly cracking his scull open on some pipes I said enough is enough and went and bought him this. He loves it and actually wears it, which is saying something for him. He already has kind of an egg shaped head and this is kind of egg shaped, but despite that it actually looks pretty decent! We had the thought that it was kind of like a polo? (That game with horses and sticks) hat but with a longer brim. But yeah at one point we had a counter going and in like three days this hat had been bonked and scraped 15 or 20 times. Better the hat than his head! We’ll probably get him a few more since he’s also doing some remodeling on their house and is always tinkering with things at their cabin. He even said he wished he could wear it in the operating room (where he works). A big win, thank you!!!
