The swivel arm is very sturdy and convenient. The microscope itself is attached to the monitor, unfortunately build quality feels like very cheap plastic. The microscope attaches to the swivel arm and has a rail with a knob to make fine up and down adjustments for the microscope without having to move the whole arm up and down. Aside from it feeling cheap it seems to do its job very well. I can have it hovering about 4” from the object for a close up image, or if I need more space I can move it higher and use the digital zoom to get the view I need. The image quality is good and the auto focus is very useful, but it also has manual focus in case you need it. It has two gooseneck lights that can be adjusted from a narrow to a wider beam. It also has a ring light around the microscope to focus the light better on whatever it is you are trying to view. The brightness for all three are adjustable and get pretty bright. Aside from the cheap feel of the microscope itself, I am very pleased with this microscope. Review: Excellent value! - The quality for the price is absolutely fantastic. I use this for watchmaking and have been very happy with the results, and my clients love getting updates showing such great detail. I HIGHLY recommend you mount it to a surface not attached to your work space, though, as any collisions with the bench or table are going to cause some pretty serious shake in any video you're capturing (as one would expect under magnification). ## Features - Innovative Auto-Focus Microscope: The TOMLOV TM4K-AF Flex features advanced auto-focus technology with a TOF sensor, ensuring precise, stable, and clear images; Its AI-driven focus adapts to moving subjects, enhancing productivity and detail accuracy - Ultimate Autofocus Microscope: Experience effortless auto-focus with our 4K digital microscope; Ideal for professionals and beginners, it simplifies setup and delivers high-quality images for tasks like microchip soldering, coin observation, and more; Say goodbye to manual adjustments - Preset Focus P1 & P2 Microscope for Adults: Easily observe uneven surfaces with preset focus points; Set Focus Point 1 (P1) and Focus Point 2 (P2) by touching the buttons, then switch between them effortlessly for precise, rapid observations; A smarter soldering microscope for you - 4K Clarity with 8" Screen Microscope: Experience stunning 4K UHD video and 52MP images with the TOMLOV 8" digital microscope 2000X; Enjoy 1280 x 800P screen resolution, 100% sRGB, and 99% NTSC color accuracy; Ideal for detailed inspections, research, and teaching - Flexible Arm Stand: The 360° articulating arm stand provides stability and full adjustability, making precision soldering, PCB inspection, and electronics repair effortless‌; This flex arm microscope ensures optimal viewing angles for professionals and DIYers - Adjustable Dual Gooseneck Spotlights: Unlike traditional ring lights, the TM4K-AF Flex features twin gooseneck lights with adjustable brightness and beam size. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for the price. *by D***O on November 30, 2023* Just received this product and started testing it out. What I like: 1) Easy setup 2) Every is metal and feels solid 3) Comes with everything you need (e.g., the HDMI cable) plus a light shield 4) LED lights are bright and easily adjustable 5) Menu was easy to figure out and responsive 6) Manual is pretty good albeit there are some small grammatical errors but nothing that caused any confusion 7) Good picture quality (at least for my needs) 8) Came with a 32GB microSD card installed 9) Was already fully charged 10) Easily adjust LED brightness via sliding touch sensor on bade There are a few things that I think can be improved: 1) USB power cable is quite short and I need to use an extension cord to plug it in. 2) If you want to charge the battery you need to plug the power into the monitor and then when you use it you plus the monitor into the base. However, if you want to run it while plugged in, you need to connect power to the base and then from the base to the monitor. This isn't difficult, just a little inconvenient. 3) When tightening the height adjustment, it changes the height slightly so you many need to set it slightly lower and then tighten it to get the best picture quality. 4) Monitor stand threads (to connect to the base) should be a little longer so that it can screw in further while still pointing forward. 5) microSD card can be difficult to get back in and one time started going in on a strange vertical angle I haven't tried the video/storage yet, but so far I would definitely recommend it for the price. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/774862385-autofocus-4k-digital-microscope-8-tm4k-af-flex-arm-soldering](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/774862385-autofocus-4k-digital-microscope-8-tm4k-af-flex-arm-soldering) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
