Great Carb
I put this carb on my 95 Yamaha Warrior 350 due to the stock carburetor not being reliable after several rebuilds. this carb works well and the only things I had to buy to make it fit were a 90 degree adapter for the throttle cable, a longer throttle cable, and a different intake manifold.

The Mikuni VM series of carbs are excellent. They are high quality
The Mikuni VM series of carbs are excellent. They are high quality, last forever, and are easty to tune. I replaced the worn out stock carb on my 1978 XT500 with this carb and the bike starts easier and runs so much better now. I did have to re-jet the carb to work properly with my bike, but that's to be expected.

Genuine Mikuni, Doesn't like ethanol
The carb is great and high quality like all mikuni's, but a word of warning. Do not use unstabilized ethanol fuel in this carb, it will corrode the aluminum and its a pain to clean once it does. If this problem does happen to you, clean it with carb cleaner and a wire brush to remove the corrosion and run some quality REC 90 through it and it should be fine. Make sure to clean your pilot jet as well.

Suzuki savage compatible
This does work on a Suzuki savage BUT it requires a different throttle cable and flange that connects to the motor. It will not just plug in. If you do get the two above mentioned items, the savage will run like a beast.

Used Parts
We received a used part. Not sure how we got a defiled carburetor, but mistakes happen. Upon returning the carb promptly to the seller, the seller rewarded us with refusing to issue to refund. They claimed the โrestock feeโ was the entire price of the Carburetor. They never communicated, emailed, responded or attempted to contact. The carb as it was, didnโt work, didnโt run, didnโt even have the parts. โNewโ is certainly a stretch of the imagination.

nice piece
Adapting it to my 76 Honda XL350 is still an ongoing process but this carb seems so much simpler and more elegantly robust than the stock Keihin. Put a straight round K&N on it for old school dirt style. Looks great. The "Not for aircraft use" sticker on the side of the bowl will stay on there.

ying ding ding ding ding!!!
I got this for my 1980 Suzuki RS 250 that I've been restoring to running condition. Just started it up on 1/1/23! The carb works great!!!

Lots of power, a little tricky to properly jet though.
Great carb, but super hard to properly get it jetted. Unusual choke also. When deactivated, it runs like it's on, and when it's on, the rpm's suddenly drop, like it's backwards... Regardless, there is tons of power in this carb so enjoy!

Good
The float seems to stick once in a while and will drain your tank in minutes if not caught. Other than that it brought an old 1978 Honda XL 350 back to life and ran great.
