Screenplay: The Foundations of Screenwriting

This book covers almost everything you could ask for, and for me the biggest plus point was that it wasn't as rigid as Save The Cat. The three act structure is defined very clearly, other concepts relating to character development are also really well written. The writing here is logical and up-to-date, and breaks the concepts down to really tiny bits for everyone and anyone to consume ;)Overall, this is a great book for a beginner who is thinking of getting into screenwriting.

There are lots of screenwriting books out there but this is the book from where you can start your screenwriting journey. I read it probably ten years back but again I have bought it and recently read again. If you are a novice writer you should start from this book and even If you are seasoned one you can back to this one again and again.

Good for people who want to learn about screenwriting. A beginner friendly book with examples from Hollywood movies.

Great book for those who want to learn about cinema, But my suggestion is watch films first watch lot of cinema around world notice the patterns look beyond screen and lines. Then buy this book it will do wonders.
