I bought my first bottle of this and washed in hot water with this soap and the difference was noticeable after the first load, I normally don't wash in hot, but these are towels and I use hot on them. They were brighter after first cash and whiter. I don't know how, I read or tried to read label on back to see if any chlorine was in the soap, but didn't see any listing for it. I feel this soap is worth the extra money because of the results you get with it. Review: Little goes a long way. - It may be somewhat expensive, but little goes a long way. The laundry smells nice!! I also used this detergent to wash fingerprints and smudges off walls that are painted with light cream flat paint. I put about 2 TBS in a small tub of water and used a sponge to clean. It worked out great.
