Review: No complaints here. - I bought this for my kid and he had so much fun in the creek with it. We found a few cool things, and he used the hook to pull branches away from his fishing spots.
Review: Nice little kit - Great kit to get out and find what lost underwater. I've dragged out a few bikes with ease. The magnet is really strong and even being stuck to the front tube of a bike it didn't come off.

**Q: I kind of stumbled onto this product.  So... what is it actually used for?**
A: Magnet Fishing..... it is the thrill of not knowing what you will find.. find a bridge or public landing  ..hook the rope onto the magnet and throw it into the water/river...and see what you pull out.....
.if nothing else, you are taking things out of the water that should not be there

**Q: can i take this on a plane?**
A: Don't know but carry-on would not be an option.

**Q: what is the diameter of the magnet?**
A: The diameter of the magnet is 3 inches and is 1 inch thick

**Q: Will this work in saltwater?**
A: Yes but be aware that saltwater will corrode and rust your magnet alot faster then freshwater. Also saltwater may weaken the strength of your magnet.
