It is shiny. I don't know what you mean by silky. It's just like any other fringe you have felt on a garment.

Does this fringe stretch?

It stretches slightly. It is not elasticized.

Hi i ordered and didn’t receive what i thought i would it say 5 yards but i received a yard of that. how much come for these orange fringes if i order

You have to look closely at the discription when ordering anything that would normally be sold by the yard. I have a tape measure glued on to my sewing table that I use every time I order a new fabric or trim so that I can make certain that I have gotten what I've paid for. With that being said, after going back and reviewing your order details, if indeed the discription of the purchase price for your orange fringe was for a total of FIVE YARDS and not BY THE YARD, and if you have had the fridge for less than 30 days, simply contact the seller (which in this case should be Amazon) for a free return of your product and a full refund to you. Then go back and reorder it again. Best of luck to you.
