So, like everybody else reviewing this, it's a bit complex to start with. Remember when you bought your first computer, and there were discs, wires, bits of hardware, and oyu had no idea what any of it did? Well, this CCTV system reminded me of the early days of home computing - how on earth does this all go together??But don't panic - "Milly" gives incredible customer support for this system via Whatsapp, to you personally, answering any of your questions, and posts videso, screengrabs etc back to you, to show you what you're doing wrong, and how to fix it.My first big mistake, was thinking that I could get access to the DVR Recorder box and CCTV system via my PC, because I loaded the disc that came with the system onto it... when all I actually had to do was turn over the channel on my monitor to the HDMI input, and lo and behold, there were all of the settings, and it was not as frustrating as it initially felt.There are essentially 3 systems working together - the DVR recorder box, which records as much or as little as you want from the cameras, the Online PC based App "IMS300" where you can go online ON YOUR PC and watch live or playback etc from the cameras, and then there is the PHONE App "VSS Mobile", whre you can be basically anywhere, and still look at your camera feeds, and playback, or watch live, it's truly great.But what you have to understand ( and I hope that this makes it easier for someone out there) is that initally, all of these components are very separate, eg, you have to attach the CCTV cameras to the DVR Box, but then get the PC App to "see" the DVR box online ( via router etc) and then get the VSS Mobile App to find the DVR box too, via a few passwords and QR codes.Trust me - this is a great system, but it's not a half-hour out of the box and it's all working as you want it to - prepare to invest a serious amount of time, as there are a very generous amount of cables attached to all of the cameras ( I opted for the wired version, NOT wireless due to wall thicknesses/lack of signal) But, you will learn as you go.I opted to plug in all of the cameras to test the system, before drilling my Home to shreds to run all of the cables, and began to learn how it was all working. But again, the biggest headache I had was trying to find the settings for the DVR Box, which were easily viewable on the channel I'd plugged the lead into on my monitor, and accessed via the included USB mouse. I cannot state enough how long this menu of software and settings eluded me for, I was genuinely tearing my hair out with frustration, but it was there all along - I just couldn't see it!!! MY FAULT!! Milly sent me a video of how the box was connected, and I suddenly realised I'd just been looking at the wrong "screen input" on my monitor, but something as simple as this can be incredibly frustrating in the face of a brand new bit of kit, and a million miles of cable!The cameras are VERY good - pictures are very clear, night and day, and they're easy to mount, and playback is a doddle on the phone App, or watching LIVE whenever you want to check.I'd never owned a system like this before, but it is worth the effort, and the support from Milly is superb - just expect it to take a little longer than you'd really like to set it all up, there is a lot involved, but that underpins a GREAT system once set-up, we LOVE IT :)

Based on customers reviews, I bought this CCTV for country house. Arrived promptly in good condition. The system has all features I'd use. The picture quality exceeded my expectations, the menu was straightforward. The power adaptor was slightly noisy- quick email via Amazon to Tonton, and lovely Milly sent me a new quiet adaptor the next day. Thanks Milly! So far 5 stars on all levels.

I bought these cameras after reading reviews about this system and others, I had tried to use Wi-fi cameras in the past on a old cctv system but they didn’t work very well.However these TONTON cameras are fantastic, they are so easy to set up just plug and play, Milly was a superstar in support helping me set up the system to view on the internet as well as the app so I don't need a separate monitorThe app is very easy to install and use, and means you can set at work and keep a eye on your homeOnly set up for a few days so far, so can’t say about durability at the moment.Very pleased with these cameras, and would highly recommend them to anyone look to have piece of mind with cctv at home

Had previously ordered another CCTV from Amazon but couldn't get it working. The customer support was non existent. From what I can make out the systems seem to be largely the same and maybe even from the same manufacturer. I got a bit despondent as the choices seemed limited until I came across the tonton system and its reviews. Everyone mentioned Milly and her outstanding support so I thought I'd give it a go - at least I'd have some technical backup. The item arrived promptly followed by an email from Milly offering support if needed. (Good start). The hardware side of the setup is straight forward it's more the setup of the software that tripped me up. Do not let this put you off as with Milly's support and expert advice you WILL get it in the end. She is just a WhatsApp message or video call away just be patient due to the time difference (china), early morning UK time seemed to work for us. The system itself lost a star (would rather I could've done half a star) due to the 4x20m cables are unlikely to be long enough for each of the 4 cameras, I would imagine in most setups at least one cable will be too short so you will possibly need to consider that and the other minor niggle is that the zoomed in image quality isn't as good as I had hoped (goes a little grainy) but this may be my unrealistic expectations. Please don't take that as the image quality is poor as it looks very good, sharp and vibrant but it's unlikely you'd be able to zoom in on a number plate beyond 10 m and be able to work it out (excellent for immediate vicinity and the night vision is good too)

This system is brilliant. Wonderful colours by day and clear black and white images at night. The company is up-front and honest and very helpful if you get into difficulties, though frankly, it is so easy to set up there shouldn't be any. I had a very faint rainbow line on one of my cameras. All it was, I hadn't connected the coaxial plug all the way. Once I discovered that - it's working perfectly. Would recommend this system, for security and for nature lovers.
