Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker, Extra Large 10 Quart, Stay or Go Portable With Lid Lock, Dishwasher Safe Crock, Black (33195)

I have a smaller Hamilton Beach slow cooker for 10 years It still works great! I got the 10 quart delivered today because I'm making a very big batch of seafood stew. I love the fact that the handles clamp on to the lid for an extra seal. The lid fits perfect and this was easy to use right out of the box. I've been taste testing my stew and it's excellent, I'm cooking it on high and it should be done this afternoon. There are three temperatures, low, high and warm. It heated up quickly for me.

My girl is always using a crockpot so I found this big one and she loves it great item for a big family.

I absolutely love this crockpot for when I am making a big batch of food for a big group of people. Standard crockpot liner bags fit it as well.

I didn’t realize this didn’t have an indicator light on it. 😜. When I plugged it in and turned it on there was no light. I thought it didn’t work or my electric was out in that socket! 😜 It does work great and high is HOT. Love that it is very large and has different temperatures. Great for big gatherings or making large amounts of homemade sauces, soups, roasts, etc.

Love this Crock-Pot! I love cooking in the slow cooker and I love to cook in volume as I am usually cooking for four people sometimes more. It is very simple to use and quality has not suffered with this brand. I love the black as it definitely gives the product more of a sophisticated look. Storage is not a problem in my kitchen cabinet as I keep it down in the bottom cabinet with a few other appliances. For the price this is definitely a great product.

It is big and yes you can load a lot more veggies in the bottom and larger sized meat to feed up to 7 or 8 people (I don't think 12 as advertised unless it's soup, chili or stew). So it's great because it holds so much, but be aware this beast runs hot even on the low setting. With the high setting you have a virtual inferno going on! In addition, be careful, the OFF on other crock pot dials is a turn LEFT on the dial, this one the LEFT turn is HIGH. After making a big dinner, my husband thought he turned it off and cranked it left, everyone sat down and ate an hour later came back, and left was high, and things were boiling! Suggestions so far after two dishes, one ham and the other a 5.2 lb. Prime Tip roast with carrots and small potatoes, always use the LOW setting and frankly, take off 1 hour, maybe 2 hours of expected done time and check! Both of our dishes were filled up with only the recommended 1" to 2" from the rim. Their instructions indicate, if you only fill the slow cooker half way, to take 1 to 2 hours less off the cooking time. Given our experience with fully filled uses, I can't even imagine filling it only halfway! We have 2 other smaller crock pots, suggest only using this beast If you fill it up 1 or 2 inches below the rim and still watch it like a hawk.

The Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker, Extra Large 10 Quart model is the best crockpot that I have ever purchased! It is sturdy, deep and durable. The lockdown lid is well designed and keeps food from leaking when traveling with a meal.

Love the size of this! I love that it's tall and not short and squatty. I like the fact that it seals. This is the second crock pot I have bought like this. You don't have to worry about spillage when you are transporting dishes that have juice or sauce. Plus this one takes up less space in my pantry.

This is a great product and the perfect size for large menus

Does what it is supposed to, simple design, easy to clean. Fits a good sized pork shoulder with lid closed/secured.
