Bought it because its part of my semester syllabus, haven't read it yet so no comment in there. But print is neat and clear, cover and pages material also good. And love the cover design.

Book came in a very condition but there was absolutely no packaging done, a little dirt ty. Only luck helped deliver the book in good condition.

I 'm glad of getting the original Scribner edition of Hemingway with good packaging and various paraphernalia

Set amidst WW-I, it follows the life of Fredrick Henry, an American who serves as a Lieutenant in the ambulance corps of the Italian army, much like Hemingway himself did. The writing is detailed and powerful in the sense that it evokes nostalgia, but the story progresses quite slowly. In the end, you are left with a poignant feeling, and wish there were parts that Hemingway would have elaborated more upon, or certain characters that you would have liked to see more of, but it is what it is. In the end, it is a love story set amidst a war, probably not everyone's cup of tea, but if you have liked similar books, then you will enjoy this one.

Book is full of surprises, filled with war, action, and emotions. One must go through the book to get what the author is trying to say.
