40 Pack Stainless Steel Wire Clothes Hangers, Space-Saving, Heavy Duty

The Universe dropped one of these hangers on the street at my apartment complex. I don't know why I picked it up and took it home. At home I had a bunch of new, white plastic hangers for all my clothes. But in a previous home, I'd had a mold infestation where the plastic hangers I used there were all coated in green mold/fungus from a damp closet in a basement apartment. I asked AI about the differences and it revealed that mold spores have no problem hanging on and adhering to plastic happily, especially crevices in the plastic, and that they're harder to wipe truly clean. But METAL hangers are a different story! Stainless steel to be exact are SIGNIFICANTLY better than plastic for sanitizing and not allowing biofilms to grow. I switched out all my plastic hangers to these, and I absolutely LOVE them! They are super strong! They are thin enough to allow clothes to be compressed better on a closet rod. They sound delightful (like wind chimes) when they hit each other - just an auditory perk. And they can hold so much more weight than plastic. Also, the little notches for straps are actually perfect for pants with belt loops. I can hang my jeans so that they are full length, which means no wrinkles and air flows all around them to keep them fresher. These stainless steel hangers were a fantastic purchase, as they will literally last me forever. So, I'm back here now to order more!

These are not just wire hangers, they are heavy gauge stainless steel and are strong enough to hold my heavy winter parka without twisting or sagging. Their size is good for most clothes of normal sized human types, maybe a bit small if you are a professional football lineman, but good for guys like me. One little bonus is a pack of plastic caps to replace any that might fall off the end of the hook. All in all good stuff at a good price.

I bought these metal hangers because my 6 year old was breaking the plastic ones daily. These metal ones are nice because they are very strong and my kid can’t break them when he pulls clothes off of them. They are much better than the regular wire hangers and don’t have any sharp edges like the wire ones do. These can’t be bent easily and have saved me a lot of money from replacing the plastic ones constantly. Highly recommend!
