Excellent alternative filter from the original Dyson filter at a fraction of the price and works perfectly with my Dyson fan

Looks like the Dyson one in every respect but a fraction of the price

Exactly like the genuine article at less than 1/3rd the price
Snug fit but otherwise the same and works fine so far. Have bought non-Dyson filters in the past which were not the same composition and could not be programmed.

Fitted first time
I was initially looking to purchase an original replacement part, however as Dyson had none in stock and couldn’t tell me when it would be available, I had to look elsewhere. Having read some of the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive that it would not fit properly. Glad to say it worked first time. The only reason I have not yet given it five stars is that I do not know how long it will last compared with a Dyson original. Given the fact that it is less than half the price of the Dyson, I would recommend

Major defect after a few weeks
Dyson had sold out of official filter so thought I would try this. I noticed it reduced the strength of the fan when I first installed it. After 6 weeks my hot+cool stopped working with error code stating to get in touch with Dyson. No air would come out of the fan. Removed the filter and the fan worked fine. Replaced with real Dyson filter and it works perfectly again. Comparing the 2, this copy is very poorly made. Cheap, avoid. Waste of money and could damage your Dyson device!
