The buttons are easy for little hands to press, and the sound quality is actually decent—not too loud or tinny like some other toddler toys. It introduces classic nursery rhymes in a fun way, and I like that it mixes music with early learning (colors, instruments, animals, etc.). Tips for parents or gift-givers: Great for car rides or quiet playtime. It’s durable and compact enough to toss in a diaper bag. There’s a switch to control volume (hallelujah), so it’s not too overwhelming for grown-up ears. Make sure to show them how to slide the little tabs and press the piano keys—there’s more going on than you’d think! Comes with batteries, but you’ll probably need to replace them fairly soon with regular use. Overall, it’s a super cute, well-made toy that encourages music, movement, and language. It has over 40 songs and 2 modes — learning and music — so kids can explore colors, instruments, and more. The build is durable, and the buttons are easy enough for little hands to push. I do think it’s a bit heavy for babies (better suited for toddlers), and I wish the volume could be adjusted. The pages are also quite heavy — a few times it’s fallen on my daughter’s hand and pinched her fingers, which made her cry.
