Sculpey III Oven Bake Clay - White Polymer Clay for Modeling - 1 lb Bar

It’s just what I needed and I got it overnight!! Sculpey 3 is my favorite clay to use to make my mini sculptures. Perfect consistency that makes a wonderful finished product every time. Clean, easy to use, and great value. Perfect texture and the moisture content was perfect and conditioned easy.

It is more economical to buy the larger 1lb packs of polymer clay. I really like Sculpey clay- it’s very easy to use and they have so many colors to choose from.

This clay was purchased to make paw prints of my dog while he was in end of life care. The clay itself is hard to work with but the results are priceless. Given the circumstances id do it again.

This white Sculpey III clay works very well and the strength and hardness of the finished pieces after baking is very good and not easy to break at all. This clay was easy to work with and it cuts well and embosses well. It did take a few minutes to condition the clay before I was able to roll it out. Instructions for baking clay are included on the package. Overall, excellent clay to work with.

I like the Sculpey III clay, now that I am in my 70s, it is my favorite polymer clay. It is a bit softer and easier on old hands. But still makes firm and makes great pieces. I've started making Christmas ornaments and plan to make about 30 of them .

A bit stiff but doable

I am new to sculpting with polymer clay, but from my understanding Sculpey III is suppose to be a soft clay to work with. I conditioned small chunks of this clay in my hands for over 5 minutes in a 73 degree room and it remained quite firm and crumbly when trying to sculpt with it. I tried conditioning a second small batch in a food processor and again, the clay remained very firm, dry, flaky and cracking around the edges. I ordered different clay from an emporium website and was warned that since polymer clay cures at low temps, when shipping during the summer months the clay can accidentally cook while in transit by simply being left in the sun or a mailbox for too long. The Sculpey III I ordered from Amazon was not left out in the elements when it arrived at my house, but I'm wondering if this happened while in transit to my house. If you're ordering during the summer, make sure to make arrangements for your clay so it doesn't get accidentally baked! All in all, the price of Sculpey III was right and shipped fast, but I knocked off a star because of the obvious condition of the clay (unworkable at this point unless I add some softener, I'm hoping).

Easy to work with and lots of fun. Sculpey 3 has been my go to now
