Review: Seems like a good tool quality and definitely good performance. We'll see how it lasts. - Exceptional finish and insert quality so far, only cut aluminum but easy to use, already torqued inserts, seems well built for a Chinese tool. Few Chinese tools are actually good, while most are poor quality, but higher priced Chinese tools can be good quality. In this case it seems to be well made and good quality materials. Will update if anything changes. 3 inch diameter cutter is a bit aggressive for an old but well cared for and rebuilt spindle, so take light cuts. I'll likely get a 2-inch facing mill to see if that reduces the head noise under load.

**Q: What is the shank diameter?**
A: This is Standard R8 Shank ( Bridgeport Shank);  which means the smaller end is 0.949" and larger end if is 1.25"; Shank length is 4"; drawbar thread is 7/16-20.  Thanks.

**Q: What rpms have people been running this at? i have found suggestions on pm ranging from 250, to 2200... makes no sense...**
A: Look up ‘speeds and feeds’. Google that phrase, you’ll find what you need. Varies greatly with what you’re cutting, depth of cut, lubrication, rigidity of machine and workholding.

**Q: How many thousandths cut (per pass) can one take when using this tool on various metals.**
A: As others have have stated it really depends on a lot of things, this is however more of a face mill it's not intended to take deep fast cuts, if you need to go deep use a conventional roughing end mill and use this for your final passes to get a nice clean finish. I've used mine on titanium and 7075 aluminum and it has produced a very nice smooth finish on the material.

**Q: is the bore head adjustable?**
A: This is 2" Carbide Indexable End Mills, R8 Shank, with 3 Pcs TPG 322 Inserts, #0046-0916 which is face mill, they are not boring head.

Sure, its made in China, but it is well made and works great. I have a bunch of fly cutters and they work great too, but this is just so simple to use its now my go to facing tool. Purchased the 2 inch diameter tool a few weeks ago. Today I tried this tool for the first time. Right out of the box it worked beautifully. Used it to face a block of cast iron. Admittingly a soft material. With a 0.030 depth of cut it went right through it like it wasn't there and left a beautiful surface finish. Much better finish than a standard end mill. I'm looking forward to using it to face a piece of 4140 steel alloy - which is what I originally purchased it for.
