Very happy with my new Netgear CAX 30 modem and Wi-Fi. It was very easy to set up and I loved their app. Their app is very good. It shows all the components on each Wi-Fi network. I set up two Wi-Fi networks one for 2.4 and another for 5G. It works great with my Chromecast as I use it to watch movies on Amazon prime Peacock and watch a lot of videos on YouTube. I have Cox as my Internet provider and it’s been working great . The speed is excellent and I’ve had to say it’s a lot better than my previous modem and Wi-Fi. The nighthawk app lets you change your WiFi name and password fast. I like that you can see all your devices and which WiFi they are using. My old modem ran hot and kept losing the WiFi connection. This one is much cooler and no lost connection. It’s worth the price.

I bought this modem and router combo about a year ago, and it’s been solid from day one. My internet stays fast and stable, and I haven’t had any random dropouts or slowdowns. I consistently get over 250 Mbps, which lets me upload long videos to YouTube while streaming at the same time without any issues.The setup was simple, the connection has been reliable, and the speeds are exactly what I need for heavy daily use. After a full year, I’m still very happy with this combo — it’s been one of the best upgrades I’ve made for my home internet

Worked for almost 4 weeks then just failed while watching tv, had and xfinity technician come to my house and confirmed the router modem had failed, and would no longer work, spent over an hour a half with Netgear on the phone trying to get them to replace it, they kept going round and round with me and the xfinity technician trying to get the failed modem to work al the while the technician kept telling the Netgear representative it was no good and faulty over and over and the technician got fed up and just left, which the Netgear customer service rep then called an xfinity customer service rep and ran them around in circles in a 3 way call as the xfinity rep kept telling the Netgear rep that it “could not” get online with it because it was faulty and could not get a signal and that xfinity rep got fed up too and hung up, tired of going around in circles trying to get a replacement from Netgear for their faulty 4 week old modem that I just got fed up and tired of going round and round in circles with Netgear over the phone that l finally gave up and hung up and just drove to my nearest xfinity store and just got one of their modems, came home and hooked it up and things were working fine with the xfinity modem. $244.00 down the tubes and I will NEVER purchase another Netgear item again as long as I shall live due to their customer service.
