I am getting another one of these. We had our first really hot day this summer, and i had to charge my phone while driving, and my phone immediately overheated. I had just gotten this phone cooler. Perfect timing! My phone cooled off in minutes and i got it charged up. In my car i dont notice the noise from the fan on this, but it is fan is a bit loud otherwise. This device has no internal battery, and it does come with a USB power cable, so I keep a charger or portable power pack battery handy. The fan speed can be changed, but the cooler intensity cannot be changed, so i dont have much temperature control, but cooling is cold and quick. The app can increase the fan speed, but i didnt need to do that. And that one emergency save yesterday is enough for 5-stars and another purchase!

I'm going to use this phone cooler here in Florida out on those hot summer days here to cool our phones down as needed. Great invention.

I have to go at least a half mile from my house to use cell service to be able to access the internet. We don't have those services at home, mainly because we are in the boonies. So, I am in my car about everyday doing whatever it is I have to do online. Usually, up to two hours. On days when the temps are above 80, it gets quite warm in my car, even in the shade with the windows down. I sometimes find my phone or tablet getting hot around the battery if I'm using it too long. This little cooling unit is great. It was a manageable size and fits on my phone with the expandable arms. I'll have to finagle a way to fit it on my tablet. Would be great if it came with an attachment to make it fit tablets. Oh well. The side that rests against the phone actually becomes quite cold. I really like the light changing colors on the opposite side. Makes it look futuristic. I also like that I can connect it to my portable charger for when I'm in my car as well as a USB outlet in my home. It seems to work great, starts cooling right away, not noisy and seems like a sturdy piece of equipment.

Especially in the summer my phone overheats everywhere we go! This has been a huge help! It's a little bulkier than I expected, but that sure beats having to buy a new phone if mine fries!Update: ONLY WORKS WHILE PLUGGED IN! Up to now I had only used it in my vehicle while driving. this works well as a phone cooler. you do have to plug it in for it to work but it gets cold quickly. I can't get the app to work. I tried everything but if you can get the app to work I hear you can change up some of thr features like changing the color of the lights.

First of all you will need a USB power source to make this work. The next thing I noticed is condensation start to form on the device like condensation on a cold soda can.
