Has anyone an idea if this fits a charwood wo12 table top router table.

sorry it will not fit mine unlessi cut it up which i have so i cannot send it back

Does this fit a silverline bench top router table

It comes with guides for 19mm slots ... which were no good to me. I attached it to a larger base with guide rails which fitted my router table, which worked OK. I did the same with the Rockler spline jig.

Is there any disadvantages to this being an imperial model? I suppose I couldn't use metric bits could I?

You could use metric bits but I'm guessing the holes cut out by the metric bits will be a fraction out from the brass inserts. Only way around this would be to accurately measure the brass inserts and compare them to the imperial. If needs be, either buy new bits to fit OR shave down/add shims (good use for an old feeler gauge) the brass inserts so they match the metric bits you have
