Worked with simple tools and no lift.Tools you will need.3/8 ratchet, 10mm socket for transfer case. 15mm socket for transmission bolts. Up to 20" in extensions and 1 universal joint.Great welding job on the bracing. Stainless steel looked great. No need for a painted one since its underneath the cab. Followed instructions. Driver side was a pain because of the front shaft, and other accessories. You will have to bend a small wire harness bracket downwards to clear the bracket. Install from the driveshaft and slide up. Plenty of room. Bolt holes lined up. I thought a little extra support back there would be in order, especially for participating in four wheel drive launches. The PPE Transfer Case Brace fit the bill and was a perfect install. The install was easy and everything lined up right. It would even be easy with the cab on!
