I highly recommend this version for new and seasoned Christain's a like
This bible is absolutely beautiful. It is full size and the print is large and legible! This bible helps to give a possible deeper understanding of scripture by writing out the in depth meanings of the translated words. I own many versions of the bible and after I read scripture from which ever version I am using I almost always cross reference it with my amplified version, and read the study notes as well. I have been a believer since age 4 and am now 43! I know my scripture inside and out. This gives me the chance to refresh my knowledge and has helped me to get a more accurate understanding that is very refreshing after 39 years of scripture !

Love my Bible
I love my bible! Perfect size for my Bible bag and notebook. Only thing that will make it any better is having my name engraved, which I plan to do. I added Bible tabs to find books quickly. Small print, but I can still read it. Perfect

Great study bible, color is ehh
The amplified bible translation is a great translation like the NASB 77, my primary bible translation is and will always be the KJV however I’ve come to appreciate the amplified version and I have ThinLine indexed bible in this translation will short study notes so I decided to go ahead and actually buy a study bible to complement my thinline personal size so far so good, my only problem is the color isn’t purple and black, it’s purple and blue like another reviewer mentioned above but it’s not a big deal it’s the only Bible I have that looks a little girly in my opinion so I’ll probably have it rebound if not it’s definitely staying home all the time cause of the color lol, other than that I highly recommend this bible the layout is great the study notes are not overwhelming pretty conservative as far as I can tell nothing too far to the left, stays on topic doesn’t try to convince anyone that they’re right and everything else is incorrect like other study bibles I’ve read through its a definite 10 out 10 in my opinion and it’s a translation I’ll be sticking with the rest of my life along with KJV and NASB 77 God willing. Hope this review helps don’t shy away from it because of the color, have a blessed day in Jesus ✝️

A very nice update to the AMPC.
I really appreciate the cross references that this Bible gives. They are contained at the end of a passage. You can look at different books where the same passages are described. Besides that, this is a very thoughtful update to the AMPC. The language makes it very easy to grasp concepts.

Very nice Bible
Beautiful Amplified Bible version. Plenty of room for small notes, and provides lots of extra information in footnotes. This was the 3rd one I have purchased. One was for myself and 2 were for gifts....they make great gifts.

I really like this Bible. I’ve always read KJV but enjoying this version too. It’s a fast read. If you’re a beginner I’d definitely suggest this one. Pages are thin so if you highlight or write you will have ghosting.

This is an amazing Bible. Very readable and I love how it expands on the meaning of words or puts certain things into context (in brackets). Also, the study portion brings out relevant considerations and historical facts, which have really supported my learning. I have tried several bibles over the past 6 months would HIGHLY recommend this one. Also, the printing and binding seems to be high quality. Although it’s not real leather, the cover feels soft and bendable. The purple one seems even higher quality than the brown one. Not sure why, as they’re supposed to be similar.
