OnePlus Watch 2R

I purchased this watch to replace my e-ink hybrid Fossil HR Collider which was becoming obsolete due to lack of support and repairability, and I'm quite pleased with it. My two main criteria when purchasing were battery life (my Fossil could go for two weeks without a charge) and band compatibility (I have a few extra 22mm quickswap watch bands I bought previously for the Fossil) and this watch ticked both of those boxes. Even with additional functions like sleep tracking, oxygen monitoring, fitness workouts, etc that I never really used on the Fossil, I find that the watch can go for up to a week before needing to be charged. My main gripe with my old watch was a lack of a do not disturb mode. I'm not a fan of getting dozens of texts in a group chat while washing dishes or cutting vegetables for dinner prep, and I found myself taking my old watch off and setting it on the counter all the time. With the 2R, there's easy access to a do not disturb mode, as well as a sleep mode (which still allows sleep and health monitoring). I couldn't make or receive calls with my old watch either, so the ability to do so with the 2R is fantastic, although there's a bit of a learning curve if you want to receive the call on your watch and then transfer it to your phone for a private conversation. Fitness tracking and step counting seem fairly accurate; it's fine as-is if you want to take a long walk but there's also an option in the workout section to track the walks if you want to compare data over time. It's easy to start streaming music while active as well and has plenty of storage to download playlists for offline playback if you don't have your phone with you. The 2R is highly customizable, due in part to being a WearOS watch, but also due to the built-in customization options of the many watch faces native to the OHealth app that are available for use. Just note that some 3rd party watch faces may potentially affect battery life, whereas the built-in ones don't have that issue. Overall the watch is a great investment, it doesn't break the bank and gives you plenty of functionality.

I switched from samsung to oneplus as far as my watch and phone. This watch is amazing. I can get three days one a single charge, it looks good and pretty simple to use. It also has oneplus super voc fast charging, so it changes really fast. Five stars for OnePlus!

I've owned the watch for 3 months. Setup was easy, and the watch and app have worked fine. The BT connectivity synchronization with my Pixel phone is excellent. I use the hiking workout regularly, and the workout data is consistent and accurate. The battery life is better than average, and excellent in the power saver mode. The several seconds of latency when a notification is received is mildly irritating, as is the lack of any option to calibrate the elevation (neither manual or GPS). The watch face repository is limited; all of the faces I've acquired from the store to date (pay and free) have come with a warning about incompatibility and 2 day hit to battery life. Also, any use of data from a user-installed Wear OS app (e.g., more-accurate Wear OS weather app) on a watch face will receive the same power penalty warning. The watch is comfortable to wear, the display is bright, and the charging system seems to work fine. All-in-all, a reasonably good value and a much better choice than the Garmin Vivoactive 5 I briefly owned.

As an avid, personal sports nut, running, swimming and biking, I've been through many smart watches and this one is hands down the absolute best for the price. The watch is the perfect size for the male wrist and is also made from lightweight metal so it's hardly noticeable that you're wearing the watch. The watch also supports NFC (many watches of this caliber and price do not support this), and has a very mature (not buggy) smartphone health and watch control app. Love this watch. Love it.
