Eigentlich bin ich nicht so der Zocker von Ego-shootern aber Killzone hat es mir echt angetan. Was mich zusätzlich etwas von dem Spiel abgeschreckt hat, sind die Behauptungen das die Steuerung sehr ungenau und äußerst schwerfällig sein soll. Es stimmt zwar das die Steuerung anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedürtig ist aber nach einer kurzen Eingewöhnungsphase (bei mir hat es etwa 30min. gedauert) wird man feststellen das die Steuerung ziemlich genial ist. Grafik-technisch gehört das Game eh zur absoluten Referenz und man kommt wegen der Dauer-action so gut wie nie zum Luftholen, das spannende daran ist das es trotzdem nie langweilig wird. Die Animationen, Explosionen und natürlich die Feuergefechte sind so packend insziniert das einen die Atmosphäre vollkommen fesselt. Was das Spiel auch noch von vielen anderen Shootern abhebt ist die KI der Gegner, den diese ist beeindrucken! Die Rotaugen gehen in Deckung, weichen Granaten aus und entwickeln ständig neue Taktiken um einem das virtuelle Leben schwer zu machen, was ihnen je nach Schwierigkeitsgrad auch oft gelingt. Positives: + Überragende Grafik + beeindruckende KI + geniale Inszinierung + Steuerung + Uncut + Preis Negatives: - etwas zu kurz (ca. 8-9 Stunden) - kein Waffenkreuz (nur zwei Waffen tragbar) Fazit: Actionoverkill vom Feinsten! Buen juego y no tengo queja por ello pero pagué 13 euros pensando que era la versión original ya que no se especifica lo contrario. Debería indicarse. 3/5 estrellas por ello.

If you haven't played Killzone 2 yet, where have you been?? Go and get yourself a copy NOW! Wow this game seriously takes the FPS genre and perfects it in every way possible. The controls and the awesome lean and peek system, combined with the realistic feel and true sensation of causing real damage with every shot are just the start of it. Beyond that you have one of the most incredibly detailed and atmoshpheric games you can ever play. The graphics are simply INSANE. From the thunder storms and flying bugs in the air to waving banners and dirt and blood flying at the camera down to the very smallest spec of dust to the insanely detailed buildings, vehicles, weapons and enemies, no stone has gone unturned in the production of this game and it's very clear to see. The AI is the smartest I have ever seen, in the final battle of the game you are confronted with herds of helghast but you must move forward with your guys and take over their position otherwise you will never be able to proceed forward, they are that clever they just keep sending out more guys and covering all the best spots unless you get right in there and force them to retreat. Not only that but enemies will seek you out, they won't stand still or take cover for long they will come and find you and find the best way to cover all your best routes out. It has to be seen to be believed how smart they really are. In terms of story and voice acting this game is top notch. You get that really grand Hollywood blockbuster feel with amazing graphics and details in the cutscenes with four really funny and memorable characters. Nothing is done half-hearted in the game, everything you see is made to be as epic has it possible could be. Some of the characters look real and the vehicles when they fly in with new squad members are just crazy. Some of the best smoke effects I have ever seen are also in this game and facial animation and when the guys run are some of the best motion capture I have seen too. The single player is a decent 8-10 hours depending on your skill level but you're gonna wanna play it again for all the trophies and this game has a TON of unlockables and secrets. Online is hands down one of the best online shooters you're gonna experience. The graphics are equal to the single player with incredibly detailed maps and graphics. I experienced no lag and there are always a ton of great players online to have fun with. If you love shooters this IS the game for you. Hell, if you love games, you owe it to yourself to get this game as it is probably one of the most impressive pieces of entertainment ever created. WOW, just WOW. 10/10

Ich schildere nun, wie ich Killzone 2 aus meiner persönlichen Sicht empfand. Ich muss dazu sagen, dass ich den ersten Teil, mehr als ausführlich gespielt habe und mich deshalb auch sehr auf den Nachfolger freute. Die Story von Killzone 2 beginn mit einem sehr schönen und actionreichen Intro und setzt den Spieler direkt im Gefecht ab. Zu aller erst fiel mir die durchaus gute Grafik auf. Mittlerweile ist es schon über ein Jahr auf dem Markt, überzeugt aber immernoch optisch. Was allerdings sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, ist die Tatsache, dass das Zielen äußerst träge und ungenau von der Hand geht. Nach etwas Übung empfand ich es nicht weiter störend, doch Spieler, welche schnelle Shooter bevorzugen könnten damit ein Problem haben. Des weiteren können die feindlichen Schergen verdammt viele Kugeln einstecken! Wundert euch nicht, wenn ihr ab und zu einem Gegner fast ein ganzes Magazin in den Körper jagen müsst. Kopfschüsse sind hier gefragt. Man selbst jedoch, kann nicht so viel wegstecken und so erweißt sich das Spiel schon auf dem einfachsten Schwierigkeitsgrad als kleine Herausforderung, nur als Hinweis für alle Neulinge im Shooter-Genre. Das Deckungssystem gefiel mir sehr gut, jedoch ist es auch nicht perfekt, denn immer wieder kommt es vor dass man zwar in Deckung ist, aber trotzdem getroffen werden kann. Es mag einerseits recht realistisch sein, andererseits ist es manchmal sehr frustrierend. Das Spiel läuft sehr linear und ist meiner Ansicht nach etwas kurz geraten. Entschädigt wird dies durch einen sehr gelungenen Online-modus. Dieser macht wirklich viel spass, die maps sind relativ abwechslungsreich und die modi motivierend. Man kann seinen Charakter 'aufleveln' und schaltet somit neue Klassen und Waffen frei. Insgesammt muss ich sagen, war ich schon positiv überrascht und kann dieses Spiel weiterempfehlen. Schade ist die Tatsache, dass es keine Split-Screen-Schlachten mehr gibt, ein Schlachtfeld-Modus mit bis zu 15 computer-gesteuerten Mitspielern ist allerdings wieder vorhanden. Wer also einen grafisch guten, multiplayer tauglichen Shooter für seine PS3 sucht sollte hiermit gut bedient sein, da der Preis durchaus fair ist und auch die Uk-Version komplett deutsch spielbar ist!
