Strong ribs, no corrosion marks.
For the size, the price is good. I have the expensive type, (the one with the UV coating). But those type are prone to get ugly as soon as it starts peeling or cracking. This one has no coating, not even an amazing piece of fabric. Jus the same cheap polyester (same as the holder). I'd say this one is mostly for rain. But it does protect against the sun. Believe me, it does. Tested in the Caribbean. I like the size and how strong it is. But what I like the most is the fact that it has no metals or anything that would corrode over time and leave a stain. That is my honest opinion. I would order again but only in grey. Darker colors means more heat underneath.

Big but broken
Absolutely love this umbrella in the size of it It's great for a family to use together and perfect for on the golf course. However when it did arrive we realized it would not stay shut the closer we looked part of the piece that latches in that connects to the button was broken off. So the umbrella effectively opens up but it does not affect at least stay closed unless you hold it together with your hand and use the bell crew straps to keep it closed. We didn't feel the necessary to return it because it's just a minor inconvenience because of that piece is made out of plastic that's how easy it broke but the umbrella is so useful and big, we didn't want to part with it and we have been making it work

Great Big Umbrella
This umbrella is huge. It's lightweight but feels durable and doesn't feel flimsy. You definitely can fit two grown adults under it, no problem. It's light, but it's heavy enough to be stable with light winds. I didn't find it difficult to hold while walking with it as it wasn't too heavy for its size. If you need a big umbrella this is a great choice!
