is this balm unscented or scented? thanks

Zack,Timely question, I just started using it again recently as winter is here, causing dry skin. The label lists no fragrance, but contains oil of clove, and the active ingredient is 8-hydroxyquinoline. I would describe the smell as vaguely medicinal. This product is less greasy than Bag Balm, which also comes in the old-timey 9 oz tin. I briefly tried Watkins "Petro-Carbo" (active ingredient 1.5% Phenol -- so like Lysol) for some first aid applications (cuts & scrapes), but it's a bit too strong for overall use. If you just have dry skin (hands & face anyway), I like Corn Huskers Lotion, which is available on-line and at CVS. The main active ingredient is glycerin, so it's not greasy, but it does contain a fragrance, which is very mild and vaguely resembles tea.

I want to return this I was under the impression this was for humans but container said for animals

It was formulated for animals but works miraculously for humans. I have put it on my my kittie's healing scratch too.

Is this product scent or unscented?

It does have a scent to it. It is not a pleasant smell but it is not really awful like icy hot, or any of those smells.

Can this be used on dermetitis eczema? (Extremely dry firearms that broke out in hive like bumps) ??
