Smaller than the ordinary one, but light, cheap, and packs easy. I would get more of these.
This is very inexpensive, and it is much smaller than most. It does put out plenty of light, and being small, it is very easy to pack up. We have not used it for a live gig yet, but at half the normal price, the drummer wanted it, so we got it. I think it is about half the size of most Stage Lights. And very lightweight.

nice little light but my remote won't work for anything
***update*** So I've got another couple lights and am enjoying this one more. One of my other remotes has the same button layout with different programming but it does at least cycle this light as well, at least through the auto/jump/fade and maybe strobe/sound modes, I just can't go single colors still. Increasing rating to a 4, because I don't think this was meant to do what I initially imagined it would, and for it's stated purpose it's pretty great for party/dj lighting. **original review** I’m disappointed because my remote control doesn’t work, or the light’s receiver doesn’t work but I default to suspecting these remote. I removed the plastic current-blocker, eventually changed batteries to one I know works despite the supplied one tingling my tongue, tried flipping it, tried other similar remotes from different devices I have and nothing will function. So my only functionalities are automatic cycling or sound reaction cycling - I can’t choose any solid color or on/off and can't choose my transition styles. I got this to use in my photography studio to see how it would work for really fast creative shot setups with colors / streaks / flares kind of stuff and it works pretty great for the purpose - if I could control it at all. However, it's value for me is dramatically reduced by it just doing "random" displays. Color saturation is OK - not super saturated but totally good enough. Sound reaction is fantastic - really sensitive, very reactive, good cycles and change ups. 1-2 of these would make a great addition to a home karaoke setup - I think for a dance floor you’d want 4. The good thing is that the multi-packs come with multiple remotes - I assume one remote would control them all leaving a couple for backups against loss or malfunction. Apparently it’s a roll of the dice when buying one however. If this remote worked I’d be around 4-5 stars, but having zero control at this point I’m a 2. I’d weigh how much you value controlling the light if you’re considering just purchasing one - with multiple remotes I just assume the odds of neither working would be very very low, but idk. Odds are the majority of them work, but it's kind of a make or break item when there's no way to manually cycle modes.

Fade Is Too Fast
The light works fine for basic lighting, but you can’t make custom colors, which is a really basic feature even on the cheapest LED strips. Also, the fade transitions are too fast, even at the slowest setting, so you can’t get that slow, ambient shift that’s usually the whole point of a fade mode (shown in the attached video).

Great!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bright, Portable, and Perfect for Any Event! These Rechargeable Stage Lights are fantastic for adding vibrant color and energy to any event. The 2200mAh battery provides long-lasting power, so I didn’t have to worry about cords or outlets during my party. The 12 RGB colors are vivid and easy to switch with the included remote. I love the sound-activated mode that syncs the lights perfectly to the music, creating a lively and immersive atmosphere. They’re compact and lightweight, making setup and transport super easy—ideal for weddings, concerts, clubs, or indoor parties. The brightness is impressive for their size, lighting up the space beautifully. Pros: ✔️ Rechargeable battery with solid runtime ✔️ Remote control for easy color and mode changes ✔️ Sound-activated mode adds dynamic lighting effects ✔️ Portable and lightweight design ✔️ Bright and colorful RGB lighting Cons: ➖ Only one light in the pack, so you might want multiples for larger venues ➖ Remote range could be longer Overall, these uplights are a great addition to any event needing colorful, hassle-free lighting! functions great and an awsome value, really fun

Great little light and love that it can be lithium powered
Powerful little light. LOVE thats its wireless with lithium battery. Would also love if it was DMX compatible but for the price and the power it does emit, it’s a keeper for parties and events. Battery length seems robust. I had it running strong for at least 3 hours or so before I turned it off. Time may have been altered due to my own inter-dimensional paradoxing (it is too a word) so I can’t fully claim it will last all night but for me It did. They are small so if you need it for a serious event, buy a dozen (or probably not these) but they do put out a healthy dose of light. The build of material is the thicker tougher ABS plastic and it comes with metal stand. Also included is the remote which is crucial. You can power it with the lithium battery or it comes with a usb cord (no wall wart). If you have a lot of lights, you’re going to have a lot of remotes. It is paramount that you Velcro, or use tape whatever to keep them together. Trust me.

Don't lose the cord; don't lose the remote!
I call and organize contra dances; occasionally we get to have a techno contra with all its colorful lights and exciting activity. I’ve used quite a few different par lights for this reason, and I want to tell you about this one... Most importantly, this is small and lightweight. It’s one of the smallest par lights I own. And it puts out a very decent amount of colorful light in a dark room for its size. This isn’t a slouch just because it’s small. I also like that it comes with the stand attached; no assembly required. This lamp also doesn’t really make any noise. There are bigger, heavier par lights with much greater light output that sound like mini jet engines. Not so here. Lastly, I love that this lamp includes a built-in rechargeable battery, but you can also use the light while plugged in. Now, this is where the platitudes end and the critiques commence. My two biggest issues with this light are as follows: 1. It is powered/charged by a DC port and not USB-C. USB-C has quickly become a standard cable everyone has with them. But if you lose your DC adapter before showtime, good luck finding one in the crowd. 2. Most of the controls are on the remote. That means if you lose the remote or the remote fails to work, you’re left with a very basic light. In fact, all you can do from the rear of this light itself is put it in sound mode or auto mode, which just switches the colors based on sound or seconds elapsed. There’s no speed or color or fade control apart from the remote. There’s not even app control so you can control this from your phone. That would be nice to have available, but I wouldn’t expect it at this price. I would love to see a button on the back of this light which would let you flip through the colors and settle on the one you want manually. Also, oddly enough, the "off" button on the lamp is labeled as "close."

More Party Light than Stage Light, quality control issues
This is more a party light than something you would use on stage - it's just not that bright. It does throw a nice wash of light that shows up against a wall well, and music reactive changes can be fun under the right circumstances. More a toy than than a professional tool, it's best used as backdrop lighting or even on a ceiling rather than trying to get any kind of beam effect. Colors are OK but not really deep. My remote arrived DOA, but it was the battery and a swap resolved that - still it's preventable I think with some more care on the manufacturers side. And if you want to do anything other than lay on it on the group or prop it up on a table, you'll need to provide your own mounting solution. It will pivot up and down on the mount, but if you need to have adjust-ability you'll need to mount it to something.
