Worked way faster than I thought on Yellow Jackets
After reading reviews, I ordered this along with a duster for an impossibly hard to reach yellow jacket nest that was behind some shingles and actually hidden behind an opening near the top of the frame. It was basically on the other side of the wall and into the interior ceiling, impossible to get with spray. So coated all over the entrance point with the D-Fense dust hoping they'd track it in, tried to indirectly get some of it into the hole though it was a bit out of reach, and the yellow jackets were gone within three days. I was thinking a week or two, but this worked really fast, very impressed. A must have if you have issues with pests getting into house wood. Definitely wear eye protection and a respirator, you do not want find dust particles blowing the wrong way into your face and eyes, this stuff is super fine.

Amazing product to get rid of moths
It got rid of cloth moths in a few weeks. Had a pretty descent moth infestation and haven’t seen a single moth in weeks.

Insects hate Delta dust
Dust works pretty decent. I initially purchased it for the yellow jackets trying to get into my home through the gas pipe that was entering the home. I had a tiny little crack where the gas line was going into the house. Initially, I sprayed some of the powder by the tiny hole and as a few yellow jackets were getting out, they got covered in the dust. They didn’t die immediately, but I was able to track them and saw that they landed not too far away and was just walking. I don’t know if they recovered or not since I wasn’t in the mood to stick around. I used silicone/caulk to seal up that hole by the gas line and dusted around the area so that when they do come back, it’ll deter them. It didn’t. They weren’t landing on the gas line, but they were buzzing around the area looking for the opening that no longer exist. Since I have the entire bottle of dust, I decided to dust the entire perimeter of the property to deter ants and other insects from getting into the house. But quite honestly, I don’t know if it works or not because there’s no way for me to test it on insects since I really didn’t have an insect problem prior to the yellow jackets.

Absolutely useless against Yellow Jackets.. Generic "D-Fense" dust doesn't work. REAL Delta Dust does...
A few years ago I had a problem with Yellow Jackets living in the much in front of my house. At that time I bought Bayer, name brand official, "Delta Dust". I couldn't even find the nest so I just sprinkled it around the general area of activity and about a week later they were gone and stayed gone for 2+ years. I'm the type that considers most generics to be the same (especially when it just a chemical mixture... 0.05% should be 0.05% no matter who puts it in the bottle) appeal as name brands so I decided to try to save money... Oops...This summer I had the same problem, and could actually see where the entrances were to the nests, and applied the dust to those areas as well as a general dusting around the entire area, just like I did with the name brand product. I had absolutely NO success in even slowing the population down after a week or so. Sooo... I began applying more and more of this stuff, in some cases even directly on to the yellow jackets (I'm not kidding, I was able to dust a few dozen yellow jackets directly and could see several flying around that were visibly white for the next several days). Absolutely no improvement. After about 5-6 weeks of messing around with this product (using almost the entire bottle) I came up with a few theories:1 - The stuff has possibly been sitting around in a warehouse for a really long time and lost its potency.2 - The fillers used are different that the name brand so it doesn't "stick" as well to the wasps or doesn't retain its waterproof properties as it claims.3 - It's a total scam and is just baby power in a bottle.Obviously this stuff doesn't come with any guarantee but I would genuinely ask for a refund if I thought I would get it. The problem is so out of control now that my only means of dealing with it is my shopvac running for hours and sucking them all up (which does work.. I've caught hundreds if not thousands of them).Next time I'll be buying Bayer brand dust that actually works and I recommend you do the same.

Worked under vinyl siding
My husband’s friend recommended this kind of product, rather than the other pesticide sprays. Yellow jackets had started entering at the base of my siding. Surprised us because the siding seems so tight against the foam underlayment, but they found a small spot to sneak in! Tried Raid for a couple of weeks, then Stryker 54 for a couple of days. The Stryker seemed to have some effect, but too many bees around. Used the powder, and only saw a couple the next day. Shot it up under the bottom row of siding again the next day, and there aren’t any now, 3 days later! I didn’t buy a duster device, just held the bottle top in place and gave it a few quick squeezes. So happy!!!!
