I ordered this TPmax 6-Inch 80 Grit Sanding Discs 40-Pack as part of the Amazon Vine review program, and here are my thoughts. After ordering these, I realized I had lent out my orbital sander that uses this type of adhesive-backed disc and, unfortunately, my friend never returned it. So, I wasn’t able to test them on a sander directly. However, I did fold a few discs in half and used them as handheld sandpaper, and they actually worked quite well for removing rust from my rims before painting them for the winter. The quality feels comparable to other sanding discs I’ve used. I like that each one has a small pull tab to make removing the adhesive backing easier, and the adhesive feels strong and secure. While I couldn’t test them with a sander, the abrasion and durability seemed good, holding up through quite a bit of sanding by hand before wearing out. At $28.99 for a 40-pack (about $0.72 per disc), I’d say these are a fair value and seem to be decent quality sanding discs overall.

I'm always on the lookout for a supply of sanding disks for woodworking. These TPmax sanding disks came up in my feed and I had to give them a try. My biggest concern when it comes to bulk pack of sanding disks is the quality of the sanding surface. In the past I've committed to bulk packs of sanding disks and have been disappointed by the strength of the sanding surface. Not so with these disks! They're excellent. The sanding surface seems fairly robust. The sticky backs are decent, of course they won't last forever, but so far they've been pretty good. The surface of the disks is well made. The grit well "glued" onto the surface, and they seem to hold out well. Decent cutting surface and they last a good length of time while in use. This is an excellent bulk pack, and I no longer have to act like a miser hoarding my ONE good sanding disk! Worthy of consideration.
