I picked this up to play with/check on my cats while I'm out of the house and it's a lot of fun! It does exactly what it advertises, and I'm impressed with the video quality, even on standard-definition settings. The two-way mic is fun to use, and honestly doubles as a way to talk to whoever's home while you're out. Although it does everything it advertises, I have a few gripes that keep me from giving a 5-star review. The app is a little suspicious on the privacy end, and I would not recommend keeping this out in areas/times where you value your privacy. minimize the permissions you grant the app, only to what lets it function-- that's my recommendation. Other than that, just be responsible. Next, the noise level is pretty irritating. I think it needs some WD40 or some kind of lubricant, because out of the box, it's got this squeaky sound as the wheels roll. Lastly, the signal stability could use some work. Despite being able to use 5ghz bands per advertisement, it feels like it lags/drops connection, even on very high speed local networks/modern hardware, so I'd like to see some improvements on that front. Regardless, it's still fun, and my cats love it, which is the most important thing. I do recommend this, as long as you keep the above caveats in mind.
